The craziest thing I learned today was that just because a spot is overbluffed doesn't mean it's overfolded.

I'm looking at these turn probes and it's like 50 weak and these guys never fold to a raise.

Interesting. Could also just be a factor of them wanting to see one more card.

Yeah true I need to study river spots and see if I can find an example

Not sure if this is the right approach...

I have Donk Fold to a Raise at 35.4%

Added Filter (DidRiverDonkBet = Yes) and Donk Fold to a Raise is at 37.5% (1313 hands)

Added Filter RiverBetSize < 51% and Donk Fold to a Raise is at 43.1% (615 hands)

vs a Passive Fish with PFR no higher than 13, the DF to a R is down to 30% (but that's only across 30 hands)

That's actually a really good flop example, so in my data I have fish as 42 weak for donk leads but only folding 38% vs a raise. MDF is something like 50%. Although Tombos made a good point about how flop/turns are actually over defended relative to MDF and you can prove this by looking at flop/turn aggregated reports.

But yeah basically you NEVER bluff raise air vs a fish donk lead because they overdefend, even though they are over bluffing.

I still want to find a river spot haha

Ok still not sure, but maybe this is it?

615 hands where they donk river < B51

Of those 615 hands, they were raised a total of 192 times. Here's the breakdown between call, raise and fold vs a raise.

Call - 75 times / 39%
Raise - 13 times / 7%
Fold - 104 times / 54%

Maybe it applies across all player types, but regs that use large sizes in small bet spots are massively overbluffing. (see my AQo hand above)

I was just talking about this in one of doodoos threads. I took about a 5mo break and come back and now this is like the new hot play everybody is trying to make where they just overbet all over the place in weird spots.

Ive snapped off a bunch of bluffs like this just by saying, you have nothing in range that actually wants to overbet here wtf are you trying to accomplish?

Yeah the turn is suspect because population is overbarreling turn so when he X's I'm pretty sure he has something and I actually expect them to fold way under GTO to a turn stab.

River XR's are way underbluffed in a spot like this so you just need to fold to them.
