They removed thousands of settlements from gaza in 2005 and that got them here. So i she it's not something they would be excited to do

The PA has been Israeli security subcontractor for almost 20 years by now.
They are not good partners, but they are the best the Israelis got.

9000 settlers were moved out of Gaza in 2005. There are over 500000 settlers in the West Bank now. Most of them are not going to be moved out. I think with some changes in government there could be some movement of interior settlements to allow for continuous Palestinian areas, but for the most part the Israeli settlers are not going to be moved.

I find myself in rare agreement with mb on this point.
I'm old enough to remember when these guys were assuring me that the Palestinians would be allowed to return to their homes in North Gaza once Hamas is defeated.
