I pulled the trigger on a new pair of boards. VERY lightweight with incredible torsional strength.
Head Kore 93 with the 2023 gold-to-brown graphics. Paired with gold Look Pivot 15. I've skied only 188cm length my entire adult life. These are a blast at 177cm with a 16.4m turn radius.

I see Rick's just doing the Lord's work in here, carry on
Rick’s post is the worst tl;dr post ever. Mr. Roll, what you’ve just posted is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever read. At no point in your rambling, incoherent spoilers were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this forum is now dumber for having read it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Also, I think you may have broke the thread with that ish.

surely no one read it?
I’m so happy page 1769 is over, it was giving my phone cancer.

I can’t access this thread via browser ever since the spoiler aids happened, I have to use tapasars. Anybody else having that issue?
Thanks, Rickbama!

Nice sticks. I had my eye on the 105s several years back. That's a lot of DIN, though [emoji57]
Eta: 177 seems short to me, but I can see why you like them shorter. Both my crows and woodsman are 178
Part of the problem is defining what is a OHW. You'd have to define in number of views what a "hit" is and then measure that song compared to the rest of the group's output to consider them a "OHW." FWIW, "Layla" was a flop when it was released by Derek and Dominos and only gained popularity after Clapton re-released under his own name about 2 years later. Hardly a OHW.

6 minimum... I typically set to 7. Wanted all metal toe. We'll see though... I've never skied on a Pivot

My opinion is that the 177 skis longer. Very stable at the top end of my speed range (40-42MPH). The shortness is awesome for me in the bumpy stuff. Was overlooking a mogul field two days ago when I was on Mindbender 99Ti.... I recall saying to myself "Geez, I would already have jumped in if I was on the Heads."

My biggest complaint with the Pivot is that it is hard to get them on in powder. Other than that, I'm a big fan. Plus, they have great colorway options. The forza 3.0 match my woodsman 110s perfectly.
Enjoy the new skis.
Really need more snowboarding bruhs in here. Too much ski talk.
I bought another car. I may have a car problem.
Nothing crazy. I wanted something cheap, good on gas, but still fun to drive. I used to own a GTI and I liked it, but didn't want to buy the same car again. Almost went for a used Miata, as that's the obvious choice for cheap fun, but then I remembered these things exist:
It's a Fiat 500 Abarth. It's loud, turbocharged, and smaller than a MINI. It's like you're playing Mario Kart in real life. It's not particularly good, or well-built, but it's hilarious and makes you laugh.
It's not even that slow, 160 HP in a tiny car is enough power to pass people on the freeway and it sounds great doing it. And it literally fits into half of a normal parking space, so if someone else parks like an asshat and takes up half of your spot you can still easily get in.
For $10K it's one of the most fun things you can buy. And most people don't know what it is which automatically makes it cooler.
