Nima Jooyandeh is a scammer and a thief
mod note: This post is a cliffnotes of the actions of Nima Jooyandeh on these and other forums.
Nima Jooyandeh, who also goes by "the bay area beast" (and dozens of other names over a 10+ year history posting on the internet on various sites) stole $14,500 from poster Fubster. He has repaid $10,000 of it so far.
Some of the circumstances of the theft include taking sports bets from him acting as both a middleman for another bookie, and acting directly as a bookie himself. Stealing winnings paid out by other bookie, and scamming Fubster by not paying out the winnings from bets he booked himself after previously collecting money from losing bets that he had booked for Fubster. He also attempted to vehemently deny being the actual bet taker, and instead used a fake name of an alleged associate, who it was discovered was a fake persona used to steal (by having this fake bookie "disappear" during California wild fires).
In addition to that, here are other activities this person has participated in that have been admitted to by him on this forum, or have links posted to him being caught on other forums
1. Tried to start a book with poster HIV. Owes poster HIV ~$5K and is paying him back at a rate of $5/week.
2. Ran bets/money for Fubs.
3. Ran his own book and took bets/money as fake identity Sterling.
4. Stiffed Fub for $6k+ as Sterling.
5. Stiffed iceminers on SBR $500. Created fake identity to defend himself etc.
6. Stiffed a guy for $800 or $1000 on Rxforum.
7. Has had many accounts banned on Pickmonitor.
He spent many years pretending to be a sports tout and often started subscription services to sports picks. These subscriptions always flamed out as soon as he hit a losing streak. He would often claim things like "100% guaranteed winning picks", and "complete transparency".
Even I would be believed if I brought dirt. If a said he stuffed a Brazilian hooker in a duffel bag and left her in city park bathroom - you'd probably put that in the thread title.
Who needs proof? This is a mob lynching. Facts are irrelevant.

I honestly don't know what you're going on about. There was and still are a collection of opinions regarding the human torch known as TBAB.
The 150,000+ posts in his OOT threads were mostly him being an imbecile and others cracking jokes. I believe there was at least 100+ consecutive posts of people inserting the phrase "gape" into pop culture references: Anne of Green Gaples, for example.
The vocal minority you have been focused on is just one aspect.
I truly hope the 9ers lose, just so you won't reveal your identity further drawing attention to yourself. Just about nobody cares. And everyone wishes you would post less about the quality of your opinions.

Though knowing him as I do, I would wager a testicle he's paid them back. Involuntary loans are a character flaw of his.

This thread is a collection of some truly sick and twisted individuals, basically a bunch of jealous haters and losers who have sad and underprivileged lives. It is what it is. It continues to this day for 10 years because Nima hit them where it hurts, he told them the truth about how sad, disturbed, and pathetic their lives are. They continue to throw insults and make accusations despite the fact that the threads are considered legendary, the content was highly entertaining and amusing to many. He is not even allowed to contest or defend himself, one wonders how this is still tolerated as it is a violation of this websites own rules and personal conduct.
Make no mistake about it, this is entirely personal and nothing else. Don't kid yourselves. Fubster scammed people on this site for thousands of dollars and nobody even mentions it or bats an eye. What is still happening to this day is absolutely insane and the individuals involved should be ashamed of themselves.
That being said, some things happened that should not have, but everyone was paid back 100% and that is not even apparently taken into consideration . There is a lynch mob here because Nima never responded well to trolling and would lash out in response. After witnessing the unrelenting and incredibly irritating attitude of these sick and demented individuals over the course of nearly a decade now, it should certainly be understandable how one would explode and give these pathetic and sad individuals a piece of their mind. Basically, he was a jerk to people who pretty much deserved it. Did he go too far? Probably.
Individuals like LKJ for example have had their pride hurt because he was exposed as morbidly obese and his weight was made fun of so he continues to lurk this thread and will forever.
I ask you what kind of person would harrass someone they don't know and have never met for an entire decade? Can anybody answer this? The people here, with the exception of just one or two do not even know Nima and have never met him IRL, the only ones that know him are defending him, what does that tell you.
The hypocrisy and lack of self awareness and intelligence of the people here is remarkable. They attack Nima's intelligence for example yet ridiculed him when he declared 9-11 to be a false flag over a decade ago. You can't make this stuff up. The obsession with Nima seems to be real and has been going on for years and it doesn't look it will stop anytime soon.

I say one redeeming quality that Nima has is that he is downright hilarious.
He is also very creative with his words at times.
Also everyone can agree that he was a top producer at his collections job. When he dedicates himself to something, he provides real value.
