Las Vegas Poker Player Vlogs
Gobbo other Thread got closed by the mod said it doesn't belong in the House of Blogs, hoping we can have this one without Trooper talk.
This thread is to discuss local professional poker players on their journey. Please refrain from mentioning the local youtube celebrity who plays poker.

This now stands for this thread:
Trooper97 vlogs, discussions etc. will be allowed to continue in the new thread. That thread will not be unchained and I will work with the other LVL mods to keep it civil.
I personally am not going to allow a lot of the horrible posting that went on in the original thread to take place and I will be very generous with post deletions and bans if needed.
Posts the are overly derogatory, mean spirited, name calling (including using rude derivatives of names) , and demeaning posts towards any of the vloggers or posters in the thread will be deleted at the mods discretion. If any accounts persistently do this they will be banned or exiled from posting in this thread. In these cases we may issue a warning first.
Accounts that are used only to or substantially to troll post in this thread will be banned.
No personal family information or situations allowed in the thread.
Update April 2018
********************
OK Vlogger Thread, we are going with some new parameters to try to make this the POSITIVE vlogger thread that it is supposed to be, not the AIDS vlogger thread where a few loonies ruin it for the rest. Note that 'positive' does not equal 'only positive', it means anything negative being said CAN'T be namecalling or wild, unsubstantiated speculation regarding any and all vloggers. Personal lives and anything aside from poker is OFF THE TABLE.

A new update March 2019:
NO ****ING POLITICS!
The new Venetian poker room will include a dedicated streaming room "allowing players to coordinate a vlogging session
If the big name vloggers start liking the Venetian, business will take a big uptick. They want to attract meetup games especially. Have you ever been to one? Turnout often swamps the room.
Rice/Diesel should do a meet-up game at the new Venetian poker room.
Better yet, Rice should do a collab meet-up game with the Trooper.
Pretty sure mobs of Rice/Trooper fans will be busting down the doors to get into that game.
"Perhaps most interestingly, the new Venetian poker room will include a dedicated streaming room "allowing players to coordinate a vlogging session and provid(ing) the ability to stream tournament final tables and cash games."
"We don’t have a date we can share yet, sometime this summer.
The streaming room is very exciting. What inspired Venetian to do this?
I don’t know that any one thing inspired this, but being able to provide vloggers with a place to film games is something we’re excited about
I wonder how much they will be raising the rake.
Is he banned from the Wynn? Or does he just not like the nicest room in Vegas for some odd reason?
i dont think hes banned he just never plays there does he? I could be wrong i thought he never played there like how trooper almost never played there outside of a couple times.
It really is a great room
He is avoiding that room because he doesent like the deeper buyin structure i would guess?I would imagine Rice doesent like people being able to cover him if he doubles up from his 200 buyin to 400, or is up money.
I think Trooper said the Wynn room was really nice when the new one opened, and then he almost never played there.
It’s a bigger game. Same buy-in as the Bellagio 2-5 except you play deeper with it being more bb in a 1-3 game, much bigger stacks on the table compared to other 1-2 and 1-3 games around town.
Seems to have less nit regs that are probably intimidated by a 1-3 game like that. Occasionally attracts some better players too.
If you are close to broke and a 1-2 and 1-3 reg you probably are not playing at the Wynn.
I remember TBC complaining about Wynn players buying in for $500 when they sat down. He said it wasn’t polite and I think he said it felt like they were showing off how wealthy they were.
I guess he has never seen that one guy play there, can't even remember his nickname, king of downtown or some ****. I would know it if I heard it.
Carries around 50k to 100k in a briefcase and puts all that cash on the table in uncapped 1/2nl and 1/3nl games. lol
Duke of Freemont?
Yea, that's it.
I played with him in that Wynn game one time when he had like 50k on the table. He is a super nit. If someone else matched him he would probably run.
Yea, that's it.

he does run. i matched him a couple times at the nugget and was even to his right once and was gone by an orbit anyway , super nice guy though.
word is he got mugged though and havent seen him in a bit. hope he is ok

forget matched. i put 5k on the table at golden nugget when he had almost 100k and he left.
Not that most people had as much as him, but it's funny how many people would buy in for a few thousand in the uncapped nugget game when nobody else had more than 500 , but if someone matched them they were gone.
Trooper opens up a bit about the Sprkli business in the new video, without going into a lot of specifics. Interesting vid.
Does he ever lash out at his “haters?” The comment section was funny to read with all the criticism he gets in there.
I notice he doesn’t seem to delete comments the way some other vloggers do.
A lot of the “hate” is really just constructive criticism and people frustrated with him that want him to succeed.
Lmao yeah if I have to explain to you why running a raked poker room on a random app is illegal I think you’re lost buddy
“Explain to me why I can’t run a casino in my basement, I thought this was America?!?!?”
^The “hate” comments I saw were criticizing his play and his bankroll management.
Also thar video shows what a generous guy Rampage is. Look at how much money he was willing to donate.
Wait LMAOOOO.
In Diesel's video today of arguing against random commenters, he rips into a guy who told him "Imagine having to go through all of this to barely win at poker... and only save $2k a year".
Diesel literally saved (netted) $1500 in 2022. Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-qX_C9c.... He hasn't posted results for 2023, which means you know it was lower.
Can someone else post this in his comments? I've been shadowbanned for awhile for pointing out obvious contradictions in what he says.
This man is so divorced from reality it is insane.
Diesel’s poker mindset…
The lack of self awareness is off the charts. Maybe the issue you’re having is you and your table image and play style. Nah, I’m just a miserable low life. Lol.
“It’s so easy to lose $100. It’s so difficult to win $100 off somebody.” - Diesel
I think diesel should just start robbing banks with guns, now before you question it, really explain in detail why it’s illegal to rob a bank with a gun.
Wait LMAOOOO.

To be fair to diesel, he said he had to pay penalties/taxes from withdrawing from his IRA's.
He likely took this away from the amount he netted on the year.
Is it a coincidence that Trooper, Diesel and Pman struggle or lose at poker with their victim mindset, the my way or the highway thinking and all these haters? Yet Jaman, Neeme and Brad are almost univerally well liked and succeed wildly at poker?
no one dislikes pman lol
he's just not good at poker.
I agree. I've been one of the hardest critics of Pman's poker skill or lack thereof but I'm definitely on Team Pman as far as being a human.
There's nothing wrong with wanting to play poker full time. But there's also nothing wrong with admitting you don't have what it takes to do it either. Denying you're a fish doesn't make you not a fish which is probably the main thing holding Pman back.
Embrace that you suck. Find the holes in your game and plug them.
It's pretty obvious he's relying on GTO and what would be the GTO play would be. He's got degen tendencies and wanting to be in action with all the loose calls out of the blinds from the hand histories he's shared.
Sometimes the cold hard facts you suck and getting called out for it hurts but it's not born out of hate. It's born out of reality. Until Pman accepts this, he cannot grow his game.
can't think of a least divisive person than pman
he's literally not doing anything. like at all

+1 I think Pman just misused the word divisive. He’s not divisive, he’s a nice guy that also has serious gambling and alcohol addictions. Due to those illnesses some people are harder on him than others but everyone agrees he’s sick in some way.
If he was really serious about playing poker for a living he would have just stayed with family in Florida after his last gambling binge and crushed the much softer Florida games. Instead, he’s playing bubble craps, slots, eating edibles, and open shoving pockets 2’s in Vegas 1/3 games.
