Nima Jooyandeh is a scammer and a thief
mod note: This post is a cliffnotes of the actions of Nima Jooyandeh on these and other forums.
Nima Jooyandeh, who also goes by "the bay area beast" (and dozens of other names over a 10+ year history posting on the internet on various sites) stole $14,500 from poster Fubster. He has repaid $10,000 of it so far.
Some of the circumstances of the theft include taking sports bets from him acting as both a middleman for another bookie, and acting directly as a bookie himself. Stealing winnings paid out by other bookie, and scamming Fubster by not paying out the winnings from bets he booked himself after previously collecting money from losing bets that he had booked for Fubster. He also attempted to vehemently deny being the actual bet taker, and instead used a fake name of an alleged associate, who it was discovered was a fake persona used to steal (by having this fake bookie "disappear" during California wild fires).
In addition to that, here are other activities this person has participated in that have been admitted to by him on this forum, or have links posted to him being caught on other forums
1. Tried to start a book with poster HIV. Owes poster HIV ~$5K and is paying him back at a rate of $5/week.
2. Ran bets/money for Fubs.
3. Ran his own book and took bets/money as fake identity Sterling.
4. Stiffed Fub for $6k+ as Sterling.
5. Stiffed iceminers on SBR $500. Created fake identity to defend himself etc.
6. Stiffed a guy for $800 or $1000 on Rxforum.
7. Has had many accounts banned on Pickmonitor.
He spent many years pretending to be a sports tout and often started subscription services to sports picks. These subscriptions always flamed out as soon as he hit a losing streak. He would often claim things like "100% guaranteed winning picks", and "complete transparency".
Allegedly.
Does it count if he was just kidding?

you may recall that g10 mounted a huge comeback in the 500 dollar beast g10 showdown through golf picks (note that g10 was ultimately overcome by a beast).
whats interesting is that there are unconfirmed rumours that those picks came from el diablo, as g10 had not shown any interest in nor aptitude for golf picks prior to that point.
so, my question is, what involvement, if any, did el diablo have on this occasion?

your responding to posts has literally nothing to do with why you're labeled an attention whore. you really are almost as aloof as a beast.

In your case, the correct non-troll/attention whore way to handle it is to nod silently at the attack, understand it to be a fair and true criticism, and then quietly go about your business fixing yourself so that the attack - while definitely true when it happened - is no longer true in the future.
He can't just change who he is, LKJ!

All these responses and not one person offered up a sincere, actionable answer telling me how to do it next time.
Because they know that answer would contradict what they themselves do when they get attacked and they'd effectively ge calling this a thread of trolls and attention whores.

27 people rip him apart over hundreds of posts. They rip apart his positions initially but then it becomes deeply personal. His character, let's call his boss about this **** we found out about it. Let's ruin this guys like because we disagreed about some stupid **** on the internet one time.
And all the while Sincere Poster Jose is addressing these allegations. He replies to those attacking him. He straightens out what he actually did and didn't to. And he addresses the various allegations being made against him.
So if an outsider pops their head in - he sure does look like an attention seeking troll. But actually he's being attacked by the mob. And the only two choices he has, to not be called an attention seeking troll - are to disappear, or to agree with the mob. Neither of which anybody in the mob would do if someone said some stupid **** to them. But it's not one person saying stupid **** that causes it. It's a mob on. A mob on one person completely changes the rules. That person no longer gets to behave like everyone else. They have to the mobs dancing monkey or be silent.
If I'm wrong, someone give me a sincere way I can conduct myself, without changing my views, so you you will not call me an attention seeking troll. You can't You're trying to silence me. That's the only way you that gets you to stop aggressively attacking me. I have to stop saying the wordsd that you don't wants to hear. Like how good of a Baseball player NIma was in little leagle.
