It's probably been a month since I've had ff. Crappy weather has turned me into a hermit, can't even be bothered to turn the car on for free fries Friday.
I've booked a shift ton of camping trips starting May, so we'll be back on the wagon in no time.

Just check out their FB account now rated at 1.1 stars with tons of pissed off people. I won't be visiting any time soon even though it's one of the few fast food places I go to. Gotta send a message how this **** is already out of control everywhere.

Better model would be to (quietly) have high normal prices, and have surge discounts. Baconator is now 27 bucks, but on a random Tuesday afternoon at 3p, it's a steal at 11.99.

I just got my Wendy's $2 double. The burger was great if you like things well-done... :( I might even describe the burger as a little "crunchy".

I bought a double cheeseburger at Sonic yesterday and lucked into a 2 dollar discount, I guess just for Feb 29. It wasn't nearly as good as the old Sonic burgers I remember.
Chicken katsu from Maison Katsu in the H-Mart food court (Mesa).

Not a lot of value, I guess, but quite a bit of food. With some kind of appetizer, I'm sure my wife and I could split it and call it a good meal. Today, I ate all the chicken, the soup, most of the rice and about 1/2 of the coleslaw, as a late lunch after several hours of work in our datacenter.
I spent some time in Osaka for work 20+ years ago. This most closely matches the katsu from the Kintetsu dept store 5th floor katsu place that we ate at frequently for lunch. Still love it.
Grabbed a $2 Dave Double today for the first ff in quite some time. That's a great burger.
