These are our baselines. We're not reinventing the wheel here. If you aren't sure if something is acceptable to post, its better to ask first. If you think someone is posting something that violates the above guidelines, please report it or PM me rather than responding in kind.
To reiterate some of the points:

2. Racist posts and other bigoted statements that target a particular group or individuals of such groups with derogatory comments are not allowed. This should not need further explanation.
3. Graphic Images need to be in spoilers with a trigger warning.
4. Wishing Harm on other posters will result in an immediate timeout.
5. Genocidal statements such as "Kill 'em all" etc, are no longer permissible in the thread.
If anyone has any questions about the above, please PM me. I don't want a discussion about the rules to derail the content of this thread. If anything needs clarifying, I will do that in this thread.

Well, good for you, because poor and oppressed people always seem to think it's a good idea to bring more people into their terrible situation, but we soulless rhetoricians understand the cruelly of bringing more people into a world full of hate.

So Hamas is not giving back any hostages after all, and none of the "ceasefire" crowd seem particularly concerned.
So apparently it is up to Israel to take the L on this one, unilaterally withdraw, and allow Gaza to be reopened so Hamas can rearm, rebuild their terror infrastructure, and begin preparation for their next incursion into Israel. And it is the obligation of the US and Israel to pay for all of this.

I think a lot of hostages are dead, and the ones that aren't were raped and abused so that is why hamas won't give a list

I would push back to this and say the vast vast majority of the 2 billion Muslims in the world and the entire Progressive left think this is exactly what should happen.
And when they say "cease-fire' they only mean unilateral Israel cease-fire. They absolutely believe Palestinian militants and other Iranian proxies (Hezbollah, Houthis, etc.) have carte blanche to attack Israel at their discretion.
There is zero first principles at work here. It is straight tribalism. I support my side with no reservations and denounce yours the same.

It is not Israel begging for a ceasefire, it is Hamas and Hamas supporters such as yourself.
They (and you) cant have it both ways. You cant say you have carte blanche to continue fighting indefinitely, but demand the other side withdraw. If Hamas wants to keep fighting that is their prerogative. But its not Israel's responsibility to let Hamas win, or even survive.
