SIDES - Inaugural Game Thread
In this thread, we will play a new word game called Sides. It's somewhat similar to codenames, but cooperative and diff
If you all think there’s a right side chance at getting it in two, then go for it. I don’t think D9–>F5 is a guaranteed get, so I’m open to a surer thing. If everyone thinks we need to get to C to make it happen, then I’d lobby harder for left side, but again I’d prefer more people knew what D9 was at least.
I'm pretty sure I know what both words are now, but I'm not as confident as you guys are. I prefer the opposite r8 route, but I'm still fine with it.
That was an x-post. I'm quite sure there are no guaranteed 2-balls, but if we use the left side and miss, where do we go from there?
Think we just see where we're at then, it's not easy but I think they have a shot from left side especially if they deduce the F5
I'd be pretty shocked if they deduced the f5 from that clue, but whatever. Maybe I'm on the wrong level anyway.
I don’t know what R8 is, but I much prefer us just getting things moving. Not sure what will be posted from the UNKQ card before we get to R, but if everyone else feels fine, then someone should just go for it imo.
Am I good to fire?
I'm fine with firing whatever, but I still think R4/R7 is our best shot at getting home.

ok my current theory is it's windshield wipers so i'm gonna go through thread assuming that and see if it fits
Ok I have a D9 to get into the realm, I have no idea how we get this in 1
We can get into an inferior realm w k3/d5/n6 but ya. Think just D9 + U8 is the way to hopefully get there
k3/d5/n6 = kia/dodge/nissan to get car, which is inferior to dashboard
not sure yet; maybe lever
I think D9 is the best out of all that stuff. And then U8 is the other planet but combined maybe has a chance
u8 = umbrella
We're never ever ever getting this in 1. I think our best chance is to free up the R. We could do R4 or R7. I think we could do a K3 or N6 that could work in combination with one of the Rs and give us a shot at a 2.
r4 = rain
r7 = raining
f5 = flood or fluid
I don't know what that is, but you'd have to be pretty confident it gets there in 2 because we could be in big trouble if it doesn't.
Coming at this from a slightly different angle, we could go for a g5 or opposite r8 which doesn't hit the word directly, but may still get there.
not sure on this yet; it's slightly different angle so will have to think about it some more

a bit worried no r5 for RainX but not gonna go just based on that
i'm not gonna give it any more thought until Filthy is here
if you have other ideas, I'm open; if not, then I'm good with windshield wipers and adjust if wrong; but I think it's got a high chance at being right

I love the windshield wiper theory. even if it's wrong, it's pretty brilliant... I'm trying to think of other options still though

I can't think of anything better than windshield wiper
but we do seem to under utilize opposite clues. if windshield wipers is wrong, then maybe the cluers could try to think of some more opposite clues for us to work with
If it’s wrong we weren’t supposed to get this in one anyway and they’ll course correct us
