Let's move this along.

grill

I wanna say barbecue, but wtf is KC? Or the q words. Or the g6.

R4 could be ribs.

Maybe Kansas city famous for BBQ or some KC BBQ?

Seems like that should be the word tho and ribs does make sense for R4

Idk what the q is either or the opposite stuff lol

I've heard of Texas bbq and maybe 1 or 2 others, but I've never heard of KC bbq. That really doesn't mean anything tho. Are you saying that's a thing or just guessing?

I'm guessing sorta but also sounds vaguely like something Ive heard before

It's prob super famous and they expected me to know it and I didn't

K7 is probably ketchup. Yeah, I say we just guess bbq sauce and be done with it.

barbecue sauce

Bingo

What was kc?

KC bbq is a thing

good job!

Knew it all along!! Way to go D1!

Nich’s β€œQ word” was literally Q, which is what some people call bbq. He couldn’t say Q1 without giving it away.

G5 is also G6 if that helps

Grill/grille

I have a bad beat story when it comes to bbq. I took a road trip from Los Angeles to Florida in 2010. I passed through Memphis on a Monday. Rendezvous BBQ (the most iconic bbq restaurant in the city) is closed on Mondays.

I moved from Florida to Denver in the fall of 2021 and spent the night in KC along the way. Yep, Tom's BBQ in KC is closed on Sundays. Both times I got bbq, but not from "the place" to have bbq in that city.

For those that aren't from the US, the regions that are best known for bbq are Texas, KC, Memphis, St Louis, and Carolina. Georgia should probably be on that list as well.

I'm going to Austin, TX later this year. Hopefully Franklin's won't be closed the day I show up.

Yeah in the US we refer to what kind of barbecue a restaurant makes by region

KC, Memphis, Carolina, etc

KC uses thick sweet molasses like sauces

Memphis uses rubs

Carolina uses vinegar based sauces

Etc

And yeah, I think q is legal but didn’t wanna risk it if others felt differently

The word is barbecue so q isn’t in the word and q is a synonym of barbecue

Kansas looks best tbh

What do Americans think of a south african braii

Yeah I like sweet bbq sauce

Whats funny is in the uk you spell it barbeque so q would not be allowed

I've never heard of it. Do tell.

Yeah I like sweet bbq sauce

I also like a sweet bbq sauce. But a tangy mustard bbq with pulled pork is exquisite.

Ironically if there was a q1 I would have thought James bond's q and with kings counsel would have pushed for agency or something like that

lol true

Q gets barbecue, bond and q anon; barbecue prolly the last one you think of

I would have thought of Q from star trek

So many Qs

I've never heard of q being used for bbq before.
