I've said that all along, and I still stand by that. But I also said UK can lose to anyone. If you are a Houston or UConn, UK is adding a bit of variance to their final four chances if UK is in their bracket. At the same time you could also convince me UConn or Houston are more likely to make the final four if UK is in their bracket. That is this UK team in a nutshell. I mean UK both beat UNC on a neutral floor, and lost to UNC Wilmington at home.
They can lose to anyone or can beat a good team. That sounds like every team in a nutshell

I'm not saying UK is great at all. And yes beat anyone can lose to anyone is a cliché. But when they have looked great, they have looked like the best team in college basketball, but then there have been multiple games like today

Gotta admit this feels like a very underwhelming conference tourney year.
I feel like it comes down to basically all the 1 seeds being locked up (and if UNC/TENN flip it doesn't matter that much) and there really being no big time regular season races where we are hoping for a rubber match in the title game.
Yup, seems like most of it is pretty set at this point. A few chances for non-tourney teams to make it, like state.
With that said, seems like Hou and Uconn are pretty far ahead of everyone else. I think both are terrible matchups for the Heels.
Anything can happen in March Madness, though.

When you're playing a true round robin, the seeding feels earned in a way it just doesn't now.
Definitely. I just can’t wait to add Cal, Stan and SMU to the ACC next season. That’ll just be so awesome. The players will really love a cross country conference game in the middle of February.
