LeBron > Jordan GOAT Super AIDS Containment, solved #22999 post by Matt R. (addendum #23174)

Very impressed with the minute sequence where LeBron clearly lost the ball headed to the rim, heat got the ball anyway and scored, then he elbows his defender in the chin, drawing a defensive foul and stern talking to from the official and hitting a 3.

It's these ref assisted 5 point swings in close games that truly bring out the best in great players.

Also LeBron came into the league weighing 245 lbs. He weighs at least 280 now. With extensive weight training his legs should of course be larger and more muscular. This is simple math and science.

That extra weight has to go somewhere

You really think he's 280? He's not bulky at all, I'd reckon 260 tops. Recent shirtless pictures of him show quite a lean physique.

imagine if we removed the 3-point line - the worst team from previous eras would destroy the 17' Warriors.. the 1990 Clippers would sweep the 17' Warriors if we removed the 3-point line.. Today's players wouldn't make the league in the 70's.

This must be the dumbest thing I've ever read in this thread.

Not even the dumbest thing in the last ten pages.

You were the man back in high school.
What the **** happened to you?

Answer: 150+ banned accounts and endless copy pastas.

Ray Allen's 3 and Kyrie Irving's 3 broke fallguy mentally.

Small calved men in this thread

Sabr42 may be able to squat and deadlift big weights, but I can do seated dumbbell shoulder presses for 75lbs each hand, DB touching shoulder. My goal are the 80s for 5-6 by this summer or end of summer.

by LuckyLloyd k

Oh baby

Nearly 3 million views on youtube, probably many more in podcast form.

Just like that LeBron just created the most popular NBA podcast.

That’s class pal! I’ve only ever military pressed 97.5kgs (~215lbs)

KD and Curry would still be solid scorers if the 3-point line were removed, but otherwise the 2017 Warriors would have a bunch of role players and very little scoring punch compared to the 1990 Clippers.

Specifically, Ron Harper averaged 23/5/5 on all 2-pointers in 1990... Charles Smith and Ken Norman were considered very strong inside players that averaged 21 and 16 respectively - the Warriors would have no answer for them or Benoit Benjamin, who was an elite rim protector and the caliber of paint force and scorer that the Warriors didn't have.. Meanwhile, Danny Manning averaged 18 and would be the most versatile player in the series.. Reggie Williams was another 18+ scorer but was 6th option on this team.. The Warriors have no scoring compared to this because they only have 2 guys that are above role player status as 2-point scorers..

Of course the Clippers would have a big paint advantage period, in a paint format... They would have big rebounding and rim protection advantages - the overall matchups favor the Clippers (5 scorers on the floor vs 2 max for the Warriors)... And I think Gary Grant (13 and 10 APG) would fare well against Curry's weak resistance.. When Grant wants to get his, he'll be able to and the Clippers will be controlling game flow the entire time because it's 2-pointer basketball and they're far superior at it on both ends.

But you routinely bash Lebron for 2015

"gunning" or "chucking" is a primary strategy in the game of basketball on 1-man teams.

But I don't think Lebron implemented the approach very well in the 15' Finals because I've never seen more secluded and consistent isolations, yet he was never able to start destroying his man and really put the Warriors' in a panic with adjustments and possible double-teaming..

Everything was a slow-plod with record-breaking ball-dominance and hold-time, which was bound to get overran at some point.. There's more than one way to "chuck" and if you're going to "chuck" then at least let the ball move by scoring in an assisted fashion (off-ball).. This lets your teammates find you and this lets them hold the ball and have a chance, while also keeping them warm for when they're needed for a bailout... Unfortunately, Lebron doesn't understand levels to this game, so he dominates the ball and tries to hit cold teammates at the end of shot-clocks for bailouts.. it's bad strategy..... But again, Lebron thinks everything is based off AAU ball-dominance.. He never evolved out of this mentality.

I am pretty sure a few thousand Jordan fans were converted from that video alone once they saw what high IQ basketball sounds like.

by bottomset k

the 2015 GSW were a better team than any team Jordan faced from 90-98

Which opponent sounds tougher to you?

A) The least-experienced Finals participant ever that barely beats a 1-star team in the Finals

B) A long-standing organic juggernaut that sweeps Shaq's 4 all-star Lakers and Popovich/Duncan/Robinson Spurs

What's a better supporting cast for a 2-time MVP like Curry or Malone?

A) 1st time all-star in 2015 and borderline top 100 player (Klay)

B) Top 50 all-time player and #1 all-time in assists & steals (Stockton)

I am pretty sure a few thousand Jordan fans were converted from that video alone once they saw what high IQ basketball sounds like.

every junior high player has that sort of exchange in a timeout before an upcoming inbounds play - it's standard x's and o's disguised as something more for the nascent fan like yourself.

any actual player understands that it's standard x's and o's talk and also that Lebron is basically massively exaggerating that players cannot flip plays in their head... maybe the occasional player with dyslexia perhaps - maybe that's what Lebron is talking about and therefore basically throwing this small minority under the bus to make himself look smart to his blind and naive followers.

the reality is that JJ Redick should ask Lebron about how to achieve elite chemistry, brand of ball, strategic capacity/coaching, young player development, or a #1 offense, since he's done none of these actual measuring sticks of IQ... the fact that he isn't capable of a dynasty or perennial favorite on the Finals level regardless of cast (can't achieve high team ceilings) proves that he lacks elite IQ and understanding of the game.. He sees everything through an AAU ball-dominance mindset, so his conclusions are quite shallow and yield losing and underperforming teams.

Lebron lacks integrity such as loyalty, honesty, perseverance and mental fortitude - there are many specific and historic examples.

He also cratered Dinwiddie, Jamison, Wood, Ingram, Hughes, Love, Bosh, IT, Clarkson, Kuzma, Westbrook, and many more, so his game reflects his weak character and low competency.

Lebron is proly a pos but he is putting thousands of kids through school in Akron and giving them housing so whatever. Jordan is tanking franchises and spewing money at racing teams. he could do all of that and still educate kids but he doesnt.

Maybe so but without MJ those basket players today wouldn’t be winning what they have today either .
And that includes all the money they give to charity ….

Wow he has hit 4 x 99 successful free throw streaks and still trying, thats gotta hurt...

😃

For the record, I’m just a big fan of people getting after it

Lift for a quarter century, you’ll get bigger

Lifting is great. I started some 8 years ago when I was 200 lbs and fat. Now I'm 225 lbs but leaner and jacked.

Still have some stubborn stomach fat which will require a cut at some point but I've been chasing progressively bigger squat/DL numbers.

Part 2 of LaBron podcast : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSjimpC0...

Hey Fallguy, can you please write up a detailed breakdown on this podcast? We want multi page analysis.

When Jordan sat down on camera, he spent hour propping himself up and crapping on Scottie Pippen. Maybe he shoulda done this kind of media instead.

I'm weak so I just body build instead.

I think my deadlift is in the mid 300s right now but I only pull conventional maybe once a year, instead I just do DB stiff leg deadlifts for reps for di hypertrophy. Working on maxing the DB rack on this right now.

Your squat and DL together is at what? 900 total not including bench? Strong man.
