Wj94, I’ve seen you post that you might be overly nice to restaurants because you worked as a server, I have to call you out for your mother wolf review. I can’t find one person besides you that would ever go back including myself. You get far better food at north Italia which is a small chain of simple American Italian food imo. Focaccia was really good though.

Disagree 100%, thought it was amazing and one of the best dinners I’ve had in recent memory. Going back tomorrow to try more stuff. It also has 4.5 stars on Yelp so it seems I’m not the only one who thinks so. Way better than north Italia, and I like north Italia.

They YouTubers I watch seemed to have an orgasm at mother wolf. It might be high variance though, the head chef has tattoos

I did take an edible before dinner but the focaccia, Cacio e Pepe, and pistachio gelato were all absurdly good. Everything was but those stood out. Orgasms may have been had.

I also thought that for the price it felt like very good value despite being “expensive” everything was well worth the money. It was also free thanks to the tier matching comp but that doesn’t influence my opinion of the food.

What are the best food options for the breaks during WSOP? I scrolled through the last pages and got some ideas, but if there is a blog or whatever who has a big list with all options and different price ranges, that would be highly appreciated

Adding the chicken a la roca at Toca Madera to their list of epic tasty meats. Top tier marinade and cooked perfectly. The crispy charred edge pieces are stupidly good. $35:

So marinated chicken breast for 35 bucks is epic? Cmon man

Fwiw, bouchon is the best value for your buck on the strip for dinner. Had a fantastic meal for 3 with tip and drinks under $250. Beef short rib, muscles, and French onion soup were great and of course croque madame is simply the best.

Double zero pizza was very good

Yes it is. Give it a try and report back.

Historically, Bouchon had also been a top shelf place for breakfast. I haven't been there recently, but I'm inspired to go back this week.

Also, to Peppermill. if it is still open

Made a reservation for my upcoming trip. I signed up for InKind to get the 50 off 150, so they're going to pay me to eat this dish. Thanks for all your work ITT.

I just bought another $1500 of food credit on InKind for $1000 with a promo they’re running today. For $10/month you also get a $50 off $150 every month. The food winds up costing 40-50% less than menu price with all of the free stuff. Can’t beat that for on strip high end steakhouse.

as someone who grew up in Chinatown nyc area (meaning I have been to at least 20 Malaysian restaurants in the 212) , I gotta say the curry laksa at lala noodles at park mgm is phenomenal ,awesome flavors. i always get it with an extra side of broth (they don't charge for that ) and it always blows me away.

Somehow I’ve never been there despite playing at Aria hundreds of times. Will add it to the list, food looks solid.

yeah just go to the bar area in the middle of the restaurant and Patrick will hook you up .

I get 400 a month in dining credit so I definitely make my rounds around mgm properties .

We are there for Sunday brunch once every 3-4 weeks. They just have at least six of our favorite dishes in vegas, croque madame is just perfect imo, that has been my favorite brunch item for 20 years.

Sea bass and carne asada tacos from Toca, think they were something like $16 and $18 on Tuesday special menu. $10 guac too but didn’t grab a pic. Cocktails $12-15 on Tuesdays at the bar too, basically all day happy hour. Makes it dirt cheap with the InKind app savings factored in. Total bill for 2 orders of tacos plus guac and two sodas = $52

How exactly does this work? Are there a lot of restaurants in Vegas participating? I only see 10 or so restaurants in Vegas on the website.

I got a year free of it with my AMEX card, and there just aren't that many participating places, but I'll def use it this summer at Toca!

I looked into InKind for this past trip to save $50 at Sparrow + Wolf, but it didn't seem worth the minor effort, especially considering only one restaurant within an hour's drive from me is supported by the app.

BTW, I'm sure it's been mentioned, but the best meal deal I've found on the strip is Ocean One in the Miracle Mile shops. There was no line at 4 p.m. on Friday when we walked by so we sat at the bar and had a great meal. Tuna tartare, calamari, wings, a cheap piece of steak with fantastic mashed potatoes and good vegetables, four glasses of bad wine, two large Bailey's with 20% tip was $62! I tipped the bartender another $5, and without asking he poured us another huge glass of Bailey's.

There's like 10 restaurants in Vegas that take it with the two best being Sparrow and Wolf and Toca Madera. Restaurants like Bazaar Meat and Mother Wolf take it in LA so hopefully they'll get added to the Vegas list eventually. Since I play at Aria all the time it's been great using it at Toca. They constantly send offers for discounted meals like $50 off $150, last month they gave me $100 off $100 dinner coupon, and you can buy "credit" at discounted rates. The normal credits are something like $250 for $300 worth of food, but they also send out promos occasionally like the one I used the other day with 30-50% bonus amounts, usually for larger purchases. They also have "challenges" like using the app twice in a month and getting 10-20% credit back on the bill for future use. Even without buying the credits you can get like 15% in credit back for future use on all purchases.

The best deal they were offering was $4000 worth of credit for $2500, but would take me a while to use up that much. Great deal for a large group though. The app is super easy to use, you just tell the server you're paying with the app, enter the check number, use your credit, and tip goes separately on a credit card. Where else can you get 30-50% off the food at a high end strip restaurant?

neat idea, I'll probably look again in a few months to see if there is more variety.

After seeing the food that was served to other people I didn’t eat my order, and my wife was throwing up hours later. Do not on any planet ever eat there!
