I got to say that it took me a long time after FLUID to get to FROND.
I knew it was not FOOOD or FOYOD or anything like that, and because FL was gone I only had FRXXX to play with.
I tried a few nonsense words before FROND. Had no idea what FROND is until I looked it up afterwards.
Is it obscure or was I sick the day they covered it in school?

Growing up in the subtropics, we had palm trees everywhere.

I have been in the Coachella Valley since Jan 5th.... I can literally see palm trees from where I am sitting, and still didn't know it.lol
I asked my wife if she knew what FROND meant....she said..."yeah, I think everyone knows.." lol 😊

I never even thought of plaid. I thought of plait first, then found flail. I wanted to do plait first because of the non-repeat, but without any other words, flail seemed more likely.

I wasn't sure if PLAIT was a word but nothing else fit so I went for it.
It wasn't until I looked at other POGgers' guesses that I realized I'd totally forgotten PLAID was ever a possibility.
I don't even know what PLAIT means.
