Based on proxy lines between Purdue Illinois and UConn 6.5 looks correct and I think it closes at that and that 7.5 is good value which looks like can be gotten on betmgm right now.
In my lifetime of watching college basketball, I think EDEY is the best player I've seen. ZION is up there, Beasley was awesome, Blake Griffin was awesome. But Edey tops them all I think.
KD and Zion are still the two best individual talents in college, but they didn't stay long enough to accomplish anything.

I see that Wisconin's center is 7' 250, though I didn't watch those games. Kel'el Ware from Indiana is 7' 245, and they played both UConn and Purdue
Clingan doesn't need to dominate Edey though, just contain him, prevent him from getting every rebound or dominating 1-1 so that UConn doesn't have to help off 3 point shooters, and then Uconn's other players should shred Purdue. Samson Johnson should be able to give some quality minutes too

exactly. contain Edey. don't needlessly put him on the FT line over and over again. he gets 32% of his pts from the FT line. stay out of foul trouble and give up the 2 pt FG without fouling when he has you beat
i was really impressed w many of these women's teams who didn't hack the big centers that some of these dominant teams have. i'm beat....i'm not going to compound the situation by giving up an and-one
With Edey, it's not just guarding him for Clingan. It's stopping the different ball screen actions with Edey/Braden Smith then having to wrestle with Edey in the post after that and of course trying to front him then leads to Edey in great rebounding position.
It's just going to depend on how the game is called. Would be the least shocking thing ever for one of them to pick up two fouls in the first two minutes because NCAA stripes have a special talent for ruining big games and marquee matchups.

Givony moved Clingan up to #3 projected based on hopium I guess. This guy gonna get cooked in the League. I think the bigger question is will he ever see an NBA court? Might be a nice player for the Motor City Cruise.
