Edit: RULES FOR THIS THREAD
Posting guidelines for Politics and Soci...
These are our baselines. We're not reinventing the wheel here. If you aren't sure if something is acceptable to post, its better to ask first. If you think someone is posting something that violates the above guidelines, please report it or PM me rather than responding in kind.
To reiterate some of the points:
1. No personal attacks. This is a broad instruction, but, in general, we want to focus on attacking an argument rather than the poster making it. It is fine to say a post is antisemitic; it is not okay to call someone an antisemite over and over. If you believe someone is making antisemitic posts, report them or PM me. The same goes for calling people "baby killers" and "genocide lovers". You are allowed to argue that an action supports genocide or that the consequences of certain policies results in the death of children, but we are no longer going to be speaking to one another's intentions. It is not productive to the conversation and doesn't further any debate.
2. Racist posts and other bigoted statements that target a particular group or individuals of such groups with derogatory comments are not allowed. This should not need further explanation.
3. Graphic Images need to be in spoilers with a trigger warning.
4. Wishing Harm on other posters will result in an immediate timeout.
5. Genocidal statements such as "Kill 'em all" etc, are no longer permissible in the thread.
If anyone has any questions about the above, please PM me. I don't want a discussion about the rules to derail the content of this thread. If anything needs clarifying, I will do that in this thread.
Please be aware this thread is strictly moderated
The **** do you mean a zillion people crossed the Gaza Egypt border every year without Israel supervision
This is not true obviously and why you had to just make up "zillion", but Gaza borders the Mediterranean Sea. If it were actually an independent state people could come in and out by sea or air, but Israel regulates that.
Your captivity is over.
War is over, if you want it
LOL at that being the only thing you object to.
(I'd' also rather be called a Gentile than a Christian)
I call myself a gentile when talking to Jews yes.
Monkeybet defines being a decent person a fascist so I don't object to that anymore.
And of course I do place myself with whomever uses power better in my view, that's everything life in society is about.
Which groups collect, manage and exercise power better than others.
Of course trespassing justifies death if you don't ****ing leave after being told to leave. That's also the law in some American states (stand your ground).
Just leave when you have no legal right to stay. Move your ass away
That could be a lot of people to exterminate if they don't have anywhere else to go. Do you see this happening individually (very expensive) or en masse?
Captivate
The **** do you mean a zillion people crossed the Gaza Egypt border every year without Israel supervision
People, food, fuel, internet, power and water cannot leave or enter Gaza without permission from Israel. Egypt has a land crossing in the south, Rafah, but in practice, the military regime in Cairo – an enemy of Hamas and ally with Israel’s most powerful backer, the US – acts as an enforcer of the blockade.
Israel says the blockade is for its own security, citing repeated Hamas rocket attacks and incursions. But UN experts say the blockade, and intense bombing during five wars on Gaza, amounts to collective punishment on civilians, a war crime under international law.
Human Rights Watch describes Gaza as an “open-air prison”.
Playing the victim card while you are slaughtering a captive population which has nowhere to escape to.
My friend my friend, what do you think Israel IS?
The entire premise since 1948 (and before) is simple:
The Jews there have nowhere else to go. This is the big mistake the Arabs made in this whole thing. They brought a lot of the tactics the Algerians brought against the French, they copied it almost exactly. The mistake they made is the Jews don't have ANOTHER country. This is it. This is the only one.
You're zoomed into the smaller spot, not realizing this has been Israel's reality the WHOLE time.
What, you want me to rank all the countries according to my view of how shitty they are? Why? That's too much work.
But post South-African apartheid, Israel is first. Then some mixture of some other ME countries, China, the US mainly for its executions, Russia, Hungary, Poland, the UK, Italy. Not sure about a lot of the others. Apart from Switzerland of course. **** Switzerland.
So I'm going to find you posting lots and lots on these, yes? I'm going to find you as outraged and verbal, consistently over the last 10 years? That's what I'll find, yeah?

Israelis are free to go anywhere in the world. Palestinians in Gaza can't step foot outside of Gaza without permission from Israel.

That is actually not true.
And part of why Rafah is about to happen.
It's a $400 rapid permit to cross at Rafah. But of course, you don't know this.
The hope in time is that Erez, Rafah, all of it will be easy. But to do that, maybe not killing your border community hippy friends is a good start. The ones giving you the jobs for work permits in the first place, lol.
It's like 10k to cross at Rafah for most Palestinians right now. And all of them need permission from Israel.

“Israel, with Egypt’s help, has turned Gaza into an open-air prison,” said Omar Shakir, Israel and Palestine director at Human Rights Watch. “As many people around the world are once again traveling two years after the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, Gaza’s more than two million Palestinians remain under what amounts to a 15-year-old lockdown.”

Now yes.
For 15 years, no. Everyone who stayed chose to stay. And personal responsibility is about paying the costs of your choices. Anyone could have left at any time in the previous 15 years. Everyone knows that, but you need to deny because otherwise it's false that there ever was an occupation
LOL at that being the only thing you object to.
(I'd' also rather be called a Gentile than a Christian but I'm not sure that word is used any more and hope I haven't offended anyone for reasons unknown.
I sometimes call you Christians to make a point that you are in a Christian, not a Judeo-Christian, culture. Christians not noticing that is like fish not noticing water.
