Logically there'd need to be a standard for there to be any double standards.
They have at least 40 hostages. They just refuse to release any men under 60 or any women and children that they have abused
Victor (and maybe hamas) believe any men they have aged 18-60 are not civilian hostages. So that's how he says his bullshit without thinking is a lie
