Pet Pictures
It seems like there's a lot of conflict and unhappiness in the world these days. It gets me down. One of the few things
We call him Jawsh but his real name’s Tom.
Goats make great pets, allegedly. I used to work with a guy whose pet goat would run and jump up into his arms every time he came home.
Now I want a goat too!

You're close enough to Cowboy Cold that he could probably hook you up with the goat of your dreams. If CC has been lucky enough to dodge the fires. Good luck to all those folks out there.
I'm quite a bit further south of the fires. My location is actually where I reside. I do have friends that live in that area and it's obviously a bad situation.
As far as goats go, if you want everything imaginable consumed including your plants, siding, wooden fence, patio furniture etc. Then by all means, get yourself a goat. If you want an exotic pet, get a pot belly pig. Extremely intelligent, easy to house train and leash train to impress your neighbors when you take them for a walk.
I had goats. Just let her know that they will eat every plant in your backyard (can't have anything pretty) and they are escape artists. If they escape, they will jump on your cars or anything high they can get to. She will also have to learn to trim their hooves. It's easy, but some people don't realize this.
They are cute, though 😉
Goat would be Goat
Or a donkey
Pretty sure when we both retire, my GF and I will find a little farm and have goats, donkeys, chickens, who knows what else...maybe start a rescue place for old animals no one wants.
brilliant!
Howard is awake from his winter slumber...
Broken YouTube LinkHoward woke up with a severe case of the munchies!
Good morning Howard!
Monty keeps on keeping on. Statistics suggest he'll be moving on from this world around July. We'll see.
I love the little guy even though I did just have to scrub some Monty vomit off the kitchen floor.
Well July of 2023 has obviously come and gone and Monty continues to scoff at the statistics. I'll have to figure out how to post pics this weekend.
glad Monty is still around!
Took her inside as the weather wasn't great out, then she wandered off and disappeared.
Found her chilling (well, not...) in front of the fire.
"This hibernation must end!"
good to see her warming up
found at a shelter today
she hasn't told us her name yet but then again we just started hanging out
8-10 week range
Cute!
Fun and frustrations ahead. May the former far outweigh the latter.
eta: Seems too big for 8-10 weeks to me. I'd guess older, but I'm no expert.
I love her already
nice redeyes, just don't train her to be a bird hunting dog
