Victor couldn't fit that into his crowded calendar. This is a busy man you are addressing, sir!

by campfirewest

Why would anyone who lives in America waste time protesting? Just do work, make money, buy stuff.

Hardly anybody does.

Do you get off on saying we love murdering babies when you know we don't

You're a sick individual

by Victor

not for the dozens of Palestinians murdered.

not for the few people left in Refaat's family. they murdered his daughter and month old grandkid early today.

this is what you support. this is what you guys love. murdering babies.

by PointlessWords

It doesn’t bother you enough to stop supporting the IDF.

by metsandfinsfan

You support the baby raping antisemites

So you’re confirming what I said. I don’t support any baby rapers. You think I know individual Hamas members??

I mean, you really couldnt find where the tweet came from? you looked at the image and had no idea how to find it?

maybe I have just dealt with too many "bad faith" tm actors. but I think you are full of **** and should go back to UP.

Reputable, long-standing clothier, no doubt

English version is out now. I posted the Hebrew a few days ago.

Israel sacrificed the hostages so they could do genocide. most people in this thread agree with this. like I get that murdering Palestinian children is meaningless to you people. but the fact that you would happily sacrifice your own people to ensure these kids die is pretty surprising to me.

Or nothing's shocking

Yes. He agred he intentionally posts rage bait.

by Victor

in general, its pretty easy to win a thread when your approach is "dont murder 10s of thousands of kids for fun"

Yet you somehow managed to **** even that up by endorsing terrorism.

Every time I hear some report that Hamas made some offer, I read (a translation) what the actual offer, which is never actually an offer but a demand, and it is never anywhere close to the report. I am guessing Hamas made some demand on October 9-10, but it is probably nothing close to "releasing all the civilian hostages." if Israel didn't respond to 10/7.

The same green tent is a little suspicious Vic...a lot suspicious.

I dont think it is any secret that activist advocacy groups provide resources for this kind of stuff, including funding, supplies and legal counsel.

Also, George Soros is 93. I am pretty confident he isn't writing checks himself. Even his son (who now runs the empire) probably doesn't' do more than oversee deposits into activist non profits, where the money gets filtered down and eventually makes it to organizations like SJP.

Even if it literally was "we will release the hostages and you pretend nothing happened", it's a truly depraved offer that seeks to take advantage of the families of the kidnapped and Israel's high regard for Israeli life.

Imagine the incentive structure this creates when someone can commit a terrorist act of this scale and then go away unpunished as long as they take hostages.

Hamas has 20 hostages

Israel has 1000

Who is the bad guy here?

PW: there are situations where both sides of something can be wrong. This is probably the prime example of such a situation.

you think Mets and others here will ever say those held by Israel would ever be considered hostages ?

get real . they want the 200 hostages back from Gaza before 30000 more civilians get killed

Hamas's "offer" on October 10th was probably pretty similar to the one they are making now. That is Israel completely ends hostilities, hands over thousands of prisoners, allows unlimited aid in, and unilaterally agrees not to attack Hamas for 5 years. And in return Hamas will makes plans to release hostages in stages at some unspecified later date.

Also, I doubt there are many live hostages to even give back by this point. Possibly single digits, and possible no women or children.

Ya. That doesn’t mean they are equally bad.

Maybe I should’ve been more clear

Who is the worse party? One has 1000 people held , one has 70

Hamas are pigs. The entire culture is dogshiit. The son of one of the founders is out there sharing his experience in great detail. Being deaf to it suits the post-truth zombie predisposition.

PW: simplifying incredibly complex situations into highly subjective and politically charged questions is not a good tool for discussion. Even if I were to give the answer that you've sought to elicit by phrasing your question in such a manner, it would not disprove that Hamas's offers to release the hostages are not done in good faith.

Up till now, you've only dealt with getting cuffed-n-stuffed in theory.

That’s a diff discussion we can have another time.

One side is worse. Which side is it and why

Simple question. Easy enough establish baselines and go from there

You're so civilized, Hamas.

Go to bed, pointless
