He also says that alarm clocks are pretty much obsolete now as everyone will just use the alarm clock on their phone. I do agree with him on that. But then he goes on to say that TVs in hotel rooms will also become obsolete as everyone has their phones and YouTube. As someone who brings their own media to watch on a proper screen in hotel rooms I would be royally pissed if they ever got rid of tv screens. Thankfully nobody in a position to make those decisions will think like rice!

How much more proof do we need that Diesel's vlog is just a giant work. He's entertaining himself, and loving getting people worked up about the idiocy of his videos. He all but admits it in the intro to today's vlog.

Lol at him constantly commenting on people wanting free stuff. His entire life revolves around maximising as much freebies as he possibly can yet he is still amused when he encounters anyone else wanting something free.

For sure, the lack of self reflection is off the charts as pr usual with Rice.

Also agree with the poster saying the trading for free meatballs is peak stuff. How can one single person keep on delivering trainwreck content like this? Legendary.

Yet he goes out of his way to print boarding passes instead of just using his phone.

I would think it's hard to watch cable shows on a phone. But then, I watch stuff made in the last decade, not old crappy sitcoms.

He gives Harrah's too much credit, saying they upgraded clocks. I bet they just took them out entirely, like Horseshoe did. The rooms have to either all have clocks, or none have clocks. Otherwise if a guest complains their clock is broken or missing, the hotel has to provide a clock. Easier for them to just say the rooms don't come with a clock. El Dorado is bringing new cheapness to CET.

Rice showing once again that he really doesn't understand a lighthearted comment (the sign saying 'please don't take the bin') and instead he takes it very literally and then has to go in depth discussing it.

I think he has said that he doesn't have a smart phone although this has been questioned. Maybe alarm clock is one of the most advanced features he has!

The detailed videos he makes on how to get around in Vegas do indicate he doesn't have one as literally 99% of people unfamiliar with a route would just use Google maps making his video completely pointless

Yeah that was clearly a joke that went well over this head. Probably partly as he is on the spectrum and partly because he will literally take anything he can so always thinks of taking stuff in a very practical manner as it forms a lot of his day to day existence

+1 Another great part of the video is him trying to hide that he barely has any reading comprehension. He read the sign “Free Clocks” but didn’t understand the sign until he got closer because he says his eyesight is bad. Diesel doesn't seem to wear glasses or contacts and he could the read the sign clearly, he just couldn’t put it together that the hotel was giving away clocks.

Usually, this happens after his no eating or sleeping challenges, like when he saw a billboard that said “Car Wash $15” and Diesel was like “what does that even mean?” Lol he even said bean balls instead of meatballs at least once because he was so excited to get free junk.

So I recently found out that there's a Pulitzer prize for podcasts. Can we nominate this Slow Poker episode?
