You're a Christian. You're supposed to believe that we are all God's people, not this divisive and hateful ****.
In 1986 at one of his famous crusades, the evangelist Billy Graham told the audience that they should regard Muslims not as the enemy but as fellow believers, that they all worshiped the same God. Over a week he repeated it eight times, in case anyone missed his point.
Over the last year, his son Franklin Graham, now head of the senior Graham's ministry, has called Islam a "wicked" and "evil" religion, "a greater threat than anyone's willing to speak," as he told Fox News on his book tour last month.

Wonder what the law and order bootlickers will have to say about the rampaging stick wielding mob at UCLA last night.

That this is the natural consequence of defund/abolish the police. You were the one arguing that as long as the police stayed out of it everyone would just riot peacefully and get along. When time and time again we see that in low cohesive societies like ours when the state abdicates its responsibility to control violence, other actors take over.
The number of these schools coming out and announcing that significant amounts of protestors don't go to the schools is about as expected. Some seem to be releasing statement on external aid for them too. Going to be a lot of investigation into these events now I'd imagine.

This is something Richard Hanania talked about, so give credit where it is due.
But he pointed out at the Columbia protests/riots most of the protestors were women, so he expected little actual violence. But at UCLA we see the proportion on both sides is a lot more male heavy, which means simple first principles of evolutionary biology should have given authorities some warning signs things were likely to be much worse and devolve into actual violence.

Unless a lot of people are lying about it online, seems like the "pro-Israel" side lead to all or most of the violence over there. Maybe that could also be called the "anti-protest" side.
Seems like it was a bunch of random 30 year old dudes. Who knows who that is. Like some proud boy ****? Dunno. They came from off campus too in the UCLA incident. The USA USA chants were interesting. Lots of claims of the Pali side being "anti-American".

Looking forward to the next season of Law and Order: Eugenics Unit.
Anyway, get used to the tread being ugly because this **** is not going to end well.

--The above is a video from yesterday of a mob chasing an alleged "Zionist" who made an unauthorized entry into the no go zone. There are lots of similar videos, although most less dramatic because the person normally doesn't try to run away.
-But yeah, if you follow the logic that it is only violence if the person being attacked fights back, then yeah. There were a lot of instances during the last few days of protestors with makeshift weapons chasing, surrounding and expelling "Zionists" who went into their "Zionist" no go zones. As long as the "Zionits" were severely outnumbered and didn't fight back, no one got hurt. But it got to a point where the "Zionists" started fighting back, so yeah.
--Remember, a lot of "Zionists" live around and go to UCLA. When I was growing up, the common nickname was "JewCLA," and not in a derogatory way, just as a statement of fact. So being told by campus occupiers there would be no go zones they weren't allowed in, it seems they took it a little more personal. And as you can see, these confrontations are a lot more male heavy on both sides than what it going on in Ivy Leagues.

an absolute mindbending post. the day after militarized police stormed multiple campuses all across the USA.
but let me ask you something, if Palestinian protesters with sticks, bear mace, and fireworks attacked people how long do you think it would take for the police to show up?

Yeah apparently there's one specific girl that got hurt (pro Israel side) that was apparently the straw that broke the camel's back and brought the violence later.
In the end I'd say the school not breaking this up way soon is definitely the main issue. They'll be sued by both sides now.
Has anyone in the Politics forum ever mentioned Richard Hanania other than in response to you? I understand that he is your favorite racist thought leader, but I haven't seen evidence that anyone else is a fan.

Honestly, it might have just been local Jewish dudes.
As I said before that part of the world has a lot of Jews, including a lot of Arab/Iranian Jews who have a different mindset than the elite Jews you see at East Coast universities. I mean, if a bunch of outside rich kid LARPers went into a black or hispanic neighborhood and started telling blacks and hispanics where they were and weren't allowed to walk on public property, while taunting them with directed hate slogans, we wouldn't expect it to end well. Could just be the same thing.

Yeah no idea. I don't support them doing that one bit.
But man, UCLA lawsuits are going to be a thing to be behold.

He makes actual insights that IMO help explain the world. If one of you had pointed out that the protests at Columbia were almost all women, and we should expect little actual violence (until police got involved at least), and it seemed to play out this way; I would have tipped my cap.

riiiight
I've been in SoCal decades and my brother went there and I've never heard anyone say JewCLA before. Sounds derogatory and maybe the circles you run in.
Btw if it was, it looked very different from the ones in New York, Toronto, etc. I've been in a few, lots of Israeli flags, lots of am Israel Chai, some Hatikvah. For whatever reason not much of that (any?) for the UCLA one. That's weird. the USA USA stuff is a shift in tone.
You're such a liar and just innately fascist and authoritarian. Anything short of a pledge of allegiance for your side is supporting the other side. I'm pretty sure I said taking down the posters was bad. Wrong. And, so? Like Brown is going to have a group looking into their investments. It's complicated and that report is due in September. It's just ridiculous and idiot
Right on cue
Whenever someone points out how ridiculous your self hating antiisrael posts are you bring up right wing and trump. You do it every time. If you get called out for being jewish and hating Israel that's your immediate response
I could have completely predicted it
That's fair,i may need a break

Of course it is outside agitators. You think the average student even knows where the school invests?

It's definitely derogatory and antisemetic, but you calling it out is taking away from all the Palestinians that died so please stop pointing that out bro!!
The crowd didn't look like proud boys.
Still, the whole thing was less dangerous than cops storming the area.
Security stood around like cops at Uvalde. Did they even talk to anyone?
No one cares because it is Portland, so I guess it is just part of the local culture there. But Pro Palestinian protestors (I suspect it is just the Antifa crowd repackaging their ideology) actually completely took over parts of the Portland State campus, and are turning it into a liberated zone/homeless encampment, with no pushback at all from authorities so far.

(embed fail, but it is Portland, so it is a picture of what you would expect)
Yeah. I've heard all this before. In other news, my classmate in middle school nicked one of his dad's Playboys and brought it on the school bus because he hoped everyone would be interested in the interview of Burt Reynolds.
I am going to guess they weren't particularly interested in the interview. Hopefully your friend updated his model of the world accordingly.
