i think donkjr would make a fine mod in the school of mclovin

I found Bowser better than the median mode on Reddit or random vbullettin forums about "hot topics".

I find rococo even better at it ofc

Try the Upper East Side.

Dude, you are never going to convince people I live there.

by rickroll m

we're 100% better off with no mod than with an overreaching and subjective one

You certainly didn't feel this way during the time of the lirvA blow up. Things happen.

by Victor m

I would mod exactly like rococco. Well I proly woulda banned me and Mets and rafki for a few hours. We were out of control!

I'm pretty sure that one day is the minimum ban allowed by the software.

FYP.

I've kept this gag running for what must by now be at least 3 years and I'm fully planning on squeezing a good decade out of it yet.

I have every confidence in your persistence.

I don't get the gag. I always assumed you lived somewhere in Manhattan. Maybe not the upper east side. Pretty sure you admitted as much at some point.

Why not just stay green, lurk like you did before, and act when you happen to come across or an obvious bullshit account an off the rails post from a reg. I'm not sure how much the regs are going to need babysitting but it might not require that much effort. But I could be wrong.

Well, if you didn't live there before, I'm sure you have a penthouse there now after your recent modding gig.

Just a running joke that Roc is filthy rich basically. I have no idea if he is or not btw. He seems to have a lot of free time to spend here lol.

We can all pitch in on some sort of payment like shipping you a nice bottle of wine - D2 will take care of that.

That's not the direction in which bottles of wine travel relative to d2.

yes, when users who only post about idolizing serial killers and start making death threats to people that's a good starting point for active moderation

not when people converse as they normally do

I see. I'm not familiar enough with Manhattan to know whether it's the upper east side or the upper west side or midtown or wherever where the filthy rich there live.

Neither am I, I Googled something like "wealthiest area in NYC". I think Upper East Side is mostly old money anyway, but could be mistaken. Makes me think of the sets in Cruel Intentions.

all of it... up until a certain point where it gets a little dark for their tastes

been housing searching in manhattan past year, can't get anything <3k a month and those are really tough to come by

most listing below 3k a month are fake/bait and switches/gobbled up so fast they gone by the time you see the listing

Sounds like slums. Do they even have indoor plumbing at that price?

It often depends on where you live in the neighborhood. On the Upper East Side or the Upper West Side, it's very expensive near Central Park and much less so as you move away from the park. I guess the billionaire class mostly lives around Central Park, but other neighborhoods like Hudson Yards, Tribeca, and the West Village probably have higher median home prices.

The most expensive neighborhoods in Brooklyn also are very expensive now compared to 20 years ago.

Rococo, I am a lawyer-scrub that has been trying to eek out a middle-class existence for the last decade and a half. Please teach me how to be a rich lawyer. Thank you! 😀

You aren't going to find much in the most desirable neighborhoods in Manhattan or Brooklyn for less than $3k per month, and anything you do find is likely to be a shithole.

If I was renting in that price range, I would look at some neighborhood in Queens with good food, Harlem, or an up and coming neighborhood in Brooklyn like Bed-Stuy. But it really depends on where you are travelling for work.

I never claimed to be a member of the billionaire class. I just know where they live.

Today cookies, tomorrow beatings. Sorry kids can't argue with the dice.

The upper east side must have been very hoity-toity in the 1970s, as that's where the Jeffersons moved to.

"We're movin' on up, to the east side..."
