That's not true. The other option is a teardown of Hamas and a long-term counterinsurgency operation. This is why Rafah has to be invaded, but that's all for naught if Israel doesn't rebuild Gaza.
I agree that a surgical counterterrorism effort is impossible with Hamas' usage of human shields, but that's why the way to defeat Hamas is on the ground. Not through the air.

Israel does not have the ability to rebuild Gaza. Too many violent, armed Palestinians that hate Jews. It would be a bloodbath.
Also, going in on the ground only would be a bloodbath and a complete non starter. Israel is an open democracy. It cant jus send thousands of men on suicide missions like Russia, especially to save lives of the people trying to kill them for some hypothetical greater good. The electorate would thoroughly reject such an operation.

People who want gaza rebuilt should
1) ask the UN to do that
2) accept that it can only happens if terrorists are exterminated in large numbers, it's not like Israel would ever accept anyone linked to Hamas (and that's a significant part of the population) to be part of civil life ever again.
Lol at the idea they will allow rebuilding with people intended on destroying Israel being allowed to live normal lives, ever. That won't happen anymore, that boat sailed on 10 7.
At the very basic minimum all families of hamas members should be exiled far away, and everyone who materially supported hamas killed or imprisoned for life (not under arab jurisdiction ofc).
