[QUOTE=Crossnerd]
Micro did Israel want hamas in power in 2006 or did they want the plo who wanted peace?
Are you going to run with this and go on citing Victor for Israel favoring the PA in PA v Hamas?
I think I still have this in my cache.
The shamelessness just makes it so clear that ALL this is is pledges and demands for loyalty. (could also be called virtue signaling - point being that signaling is the point and the facts and arguments are just props.)

Nothing in here says they backed hamas in 2006/2007
The sole reason for the blockade is Hamas

Again i have no issue with many of the things you criticize about Israel and Netanyahu in general
It's the fact that all you do is criticize and blame Israel and only blame others when pushed
You definitely blame Netanyahu for this and you definitely understand why hamas was pushed to do this

NYT article says they started material help to Hamas in 2012. but I only skimmed it and its lol NYT.
Israel had a pretty sweet deal with the PLO and Fatah after Oslo. Palestinans recognized this and thats why Hamas won. they didnt want to trade peace for freedom and justice.
Removing the settlements in 2005 was a bit like the demand for Hamas to be destroyed in the war right now. I don't expect numbskulls to understand this, but disengagement from Gaza and the walls have been a bigger problem than settlements were. Was Israel really trying for peace with Gaza with the withdrawal or was it part of setting up conditions for a permanent war?Remove t
Unlike you, I am old enough to remember the 2nd Infintada. If the choice is endless waves of Shaheed suicide bombers or building a wall to stop it, I am pretty sure every country would take the wall 110% of the time.
As far as the "ceasefire" narrative goes, I have been saying this for months, and will say it one more time.
From October 8th, Hamas has emphatically stated there will be no peace until there is a full Israel military withdrawal from Gaza with Hamas remaining in power. And Israel has emphatically stated it will remain in Gaza for the foreseeable future, and hamas will not remain in power.
And as long as neither side is willing to budge on these positions, all the ceasefire talk is Kabuki theatre, including Hamas announcement today they agreed to a ceasefire agreement (which was just them re-affirming their position that hasn't wavered in7 months).

today was Hamas agreeing to the deal offered by Israel brokered by its main backer the USA. Israel does not want a deal so they backed out. this has been well reported even by Israeli media. stop lying.
as for the rest of your post, Hamas wants the barest of minimum human rights for its citizens. you can frame it how you want but the bottom line is people deserve food and shelter and to no be murdered for no reason. this shows just how disgusting you Zionists are. the fact that you think that it is negotiable to continue he slaughter on the population of Gaza.
sorry but you guys are cooked when Rhode Island School of Design starts protesting

If Israel caves this time, we will just be back for another fight that’s even nastier in 10 years.
Hamas needs to be demilitarized at a minimum.
And they will never agree to that until they are essentially destroyed militarily. The political leadership in Qatar floated demilitarization and Sinwar told them to **** off.

It's because sin war, Hamas is nothing.
Hamas has offered demilitarization many times
I still cant break away from the opinion that hamas are the dumbest mouth breathers on planet earth. If its an advanced play and they want this war for some long game strategic play then ill take it back. If they are just resistance fighters that got a little to angry and may have ****ed things up for their people for the greater good, th en even that is understandable i guess.
There is such an apparent hate that i dont think a lot of western folks can really grasp here and the media seems to want to spin a calmer approach that just isnt reality.
I dont see how things dont get incredibly worse for thr milion of innocent folk who had no choice but to be born there.
So my posts duplicate for edits now, thats awesome.
These look bad but I want to make sure I have full context before judging. A lot of the press is instigating the violence. Also, the guy is saying you can't arrest one of the people because he came in third for Mayor. That's just stupid.
Anyway, everybody go home. Chill out. It's all good.
