From what I can see, they are running this $200 tournament twice a day now with the same 25k chips and 30 min. blinds as the Big Series they have coming, but the blind structure is much better now, during the series the blinds get up there quicker but still 30 min. blinds. lol

You can deposit cash at the WSOP cage into your TBIC account for free, not sure why people mess with all these other gouge-services.

Thanks, and what is TBIC?

Not sure exactly the acronym but something like Tournament Buy In Account (or Credit). Once you open and deposit into your TBIC, you can use the app and kiosks to reg/get seat card, avoiding the long reg lines at times.

One thing to note, you can always deposit more into your TBIC, but you can’t withdraw unless you withdraw it all and close out your TBIC. Probably related to banking regulations since it’s not a bank account per se. So you just close it out at the end of series or whenever the end of series is for you.

Thanks! Is this also connected to the WSOP+ app? Is that the same as the TBIC account and the same as using the kiosk?

Not sure about WSOP+, but you need to verify your identity in person to open a TBIC, there is a special TBIC window in Paris in the VIP/Payout cage, not the main registration line cage. Once you verify your identity they open a TBIC for you, you deposit what you want, it’s tied to your Caesar’s rewards number so you then can use the app (WSOP+ ?) to register for tournaments, it’ll list TBIC as method of payment/registration. Then print out seat cards at kiosks located throughout WSOP. There’s a $3 convenience fee to reg via app/kiosk, but well worth it if normal lines are 1 hour long.

Truth be told last year was first year I did the TBIC thing, so there are probably others here who do it every year who can offer more details etc.

Not sure if this has been covered elsewhere so I'll throw it here anyway. There's a simple new way to electronically pay for WSOP tournaments this year by funding your Bravo account with a service called PayFiniti. It's ACH, so you link your bank account to the app, transfer funds in, and pay for your tournaments that way. Sounds like a great way to avoid the 2.95 percent fee Bravo whacks you with to pay with a credit card...right? Nope.

Payfiniti and Bravo won't tell you until you've created a n

Use a wire. Says a 25 flat fee. Banks also charge like 15, depending.

by parisron k

Yes, Bravo and Poker Atlas to see Resort world, Sahara and Westgate.

Resort world has a small tournament series coming up also.

sadly they dont use bravo i checked a few weeks ago and same as last year they only use poker atlas for some ****ing reason

sadge.

edit* holy **** for a 200$ tourney that is ****ing insane value no????

I believe WSOP+ was used for the WSOP in Atlantis but wonÂ’t be used for the Nevada WSOP. I have a WSOP+ account and there is nothing about the upcoming series available on that app. As others have said setting up a TBIC account or whatever theyÂ’re called is the best way to go. Deposit money, and use that money all summer to buy in to events.

from the WSOP+ app. Nothing about anything besides the WSOP Paradise that already happened

Am I reading FAQs correctly that tournament buyins can be paid for with a debit/credit card without a fee?

I am from Germany, so this should apply if I bink anything:

Foreign Residents of U.S. Tax Treaty Countries:Must provide an Individual Tax Identification Number.

Foreign Residents of Treaty Countries, not providing an Individual Tax Identification Number, will be subject to 30% tax withholding.

Foreign Residents of U.S. Tax Non-Treaty Countries: Will be subject to 30% tax withholding.

So if I understand correctly, I have to show my German tax identification number and if not I will pay 30% taxes, correct?

According to the FAQ, you can cancel an event until "tickets printed for the event or up until 24 hours before the event has started".

Maybe my memory isn't correct, but I thought we were able to cancel an event even after a tournament started. I remember people "cancelling" when the line for a table was too long.

Maybe WSOP is eliminating the table draw check freeroll.

This was the case at this years circuit events. I was surprised, but bought into an event with my rewards card. It was listed on my statement as a gift card purchase.

You can get a one time courtesy refund for a no-show. But realistically, you can probably go to the cage multiple times for a refund as long as they don't think you're abusing it or its a pattern.

Its 2.95/3.95% from bravo cc fees but its charged as a regular purchase so no fees from the cc on your side, they just passing the payment processing fee over to us.

There was no additional fee at the circuit event I attended. Only the tournament entry was billed to my CC. This was in person reg, no Bravo.

Hi everyone,

Sorry for the ignorance but I've read back through the last couple of pages and the topic seems to be mostly directed at foreigners or those playing big buy ins.

This is finally my first wsop and I'm playing the monster stack (1500). The cage in Paris is open 24/7 now right so the night before I can just go pay right there with cash and get a ticket, or....? Any simple help would be appreciated.

Btw, my girl is a gold? Member and we got a free! Week at horseshoe June 14-21 somehow. Never figured that'd be possible.

Yep, cash is the way I do it all the time. Just walk on up to the registration desk with your players card and pay the buy-in. All this other stuff is mostly for foreigners and/or those playing very expensive tournaments who don’t want to carry all that cash with them. I do the cheaper ones and usually keep enough cash on me for a couple bullets.

Free week - sweet for you two, not sure how you pulled that off but what a deal. Oh as a Gold you still will need to pay the resort fees but its still a bargain. Good Luck in the Monster. For more WSOP info try this thread https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/65/to...

vega you been posting for years im surprised you never took a shot!

yes I would reccomend you go after 1am if you want the shortest time possible, usually when I go at 2-3am at night the wait is usually between 15-30mins. at the rio it used to be a bit longr

Thanks guys. Yea I have no clue how or why they gave that to her. She's a degenerate but a few hundred a day type not a few thousand.

Pleasure,

Yea dude, I should have a long time ago but demons and bad decisions always put me in a spot where I either couldn't go or it's not a reasonable decision to play (financially). I've played for supplemental income for years but I'm pretty strict about shot taking in tournaments. I am confident, but a few grand is quire a bit compared to a 10k roll or so I've been fortunate to keep over the years.

Things are looking up now though, hopefully the Main next year!

I actually like this change, why not be able to double your money with a min-cash?

Interesting though, the Main Event is still hard coded at $15K min cash, so no change for the Main Event payout structure, evidently.
