Palestinians aren't "brown people", they're diverse, ethnically.
Lots of groups consisting of "white people" have been labelled as terrorists- IRA ETA Red Brigade OAS, FARC etc so it isn't racist, not in general or within the context of this thread discussion.

If you hold brown people to a higher standard than you hold white people, everything else equal, that’s racism.

I think he was talking generically about how Muslim people on average are browner than white people, and how their religious identity is used as a proxy for racism.

In my humble opinion, in this conflict, it's the Israelis being held to the higher standard.

It's why (largely) nobody cared for Syria, Yemen, etc. It's why all the other countries can be self-determined by Muslims. Only the tiny nation self-determined by Jews is a problem.

It's only in Israel where these issues, middle-east speaking, spark global outrage. I think in a world that was a little more balanced, Israel would't be exempt. We'd just care about the much bigger tragedies occurring all over the world at the same time. Proportionately.

There are plenty of women in Hamas. Their place in the organization has been steadily increasing. And the political wing as well as the military. Obviously far fewer women than men. But perhaps more than you'd expect.

Now that said, obviously you'll get no disagreement from me on the general place of women in Islam. But it's not much better in orthodox Judaism (which has always creeped me out). I'm generally very fond of where women have landed in Israeli society broadly though.

Not altogether. The term relies on actual observable extended-family resemblances and characteristics, but the way in which these are totemised (as if they implied wholly discrete groups, when in fact they can merge at any point) is a social construct.

Not sure what sevillian means but when Iran has the same skin color as Italy you either we Italian aren't white, or you stop this nonsense

How do you consider a woman who helps terrorists healing their wounds, helping them hide, moving information around, helping with logistics, preparing food for terrorists? Because a ton of women do that in Gaza

israel is a terrible liar. they told gazans go to camp x, there will be water and food and infrastrucure, and then there was nothing.

There's lots of white Muslims and Asian Muslims. There's no racism at play here.

So? Point being neither Muslims or Palestinians are "brown people" and plenty of groups that were deemed terrorist consisted solely of "white people" regardless of PW's ramblings or your apparent attempted justifications of said ramblings
