Somebody with access to the official X account of the city of Kansas City, MO sent out this tweet. The mayor had to apologize for it later.

(Lee's Summit is a suburb where white people move to if they don't want to send their kids to a crappy public school in the Kansas City school district)

I would guess 0 players kids are in crappy school district.

Doesn't really matter if the public school district is crappy if you're not sending your kids to a public school. Only people who don't want to pay for school have to move to the good school districts.

FWIW, Xavier Worthy lives in downtown KCMO (bad school district) but he obviously doesn't have any school aged kids.

Misspelled the name and also added the apostrophe which is usually not used in the name of places to not confuse people.

actually it's not unreasonable - he's effectively guaranteed 4 years at $193m through the 2027 season (although that includes the $35m he was due to make this season)

Lions could decide to cut bait after 2026 season but they would still pay him $18m cash and there'd be a big dead cap hit

the next two seasons his cap hit is actually quite low...27m and 32m and then it jumps to $69m and $54m in 2026 and 2027, so if he's still playing well I'd expect they would re-structure him after the 2025 season

Butker went from one of the best kickers in the game to being a couple of crucial misses away from being out of the nfl before his 30th birthday which there is just no chance he believed was in play before that commencement

If anything if I were the father of a graduating woman I’d want to beat the living **** out someone within an inch of their life if they gave a speech at my daughter’s graduation that basically amounted to ‘you paid 200k in tuition but really you should find a husband tomorrow and stay at home like my wife’
