I fully agree to butker’s right to freedom of speech, freedom of expression, and that he shouldn’t be treated any differently than Kaep was

So miss 2 field goals and never play for an nfl team again, roostersucker

The rumor is that the order has been issued to stand back and stand by. Confirmation pending.

IIRC that is the way the other liquored up idiot kicker was treated--not Kaep.

Not that I disagree with your well-wishes.

So, nip the buds' bud in the bud, Bud?

mugshot for weed? this aint 20 years ago. calm down gestapo. All this KC news. KC seems like a horrible place. I can't think of one reason I would ever go there.

Or just keep the buds in Missouri where they are legal and don't take them across state line to Kansas..

Butker's jersey apparently passed Mahomes and Kelce as most popular Chiefs jersey. Looks like the MAGA crowd only claimed to have quit on the NFL.

Weed is legal in Kansas City, Missouri.

heh. just another dumb post by me. At one time I knew KC was not in Kansas. Or I didn't read twitter close enough. Either way, my job is done is here.

Speaking of weed I just made a midnight snack fit for a stoner and I'm not even high.

PB sandwich with chocolate syrup.

Sorry Tarheels.....

^^^^Aren't all home (and away) games broadcast on local TV for free? I know some markets still have blackouts so not sure about Carolina. I go to most Bills home games but if I didn't I could stay home and watch all of them for free.

I've seen some ridiculous articles trying to say how much it costs to watch every NFL game this season and most of it was trying to include a cable-like package for network TV.

The reality is it costs the price of Sunday Ticket, a TV antenna and then some well-timed subscriptions for Netflix/Peacock. So like $300. Some terrible, clickbaity "journalism" going on.

And for local market teams, it's all free except for those small subscriptions

Man I completely forgot about blackout rules but just now remember during the 90s it was impossible to watch a raiders home game cuz they couldn’t sellout a single one

Thought that was hilarious. Also a bonus cuz it meant instead of a shitty raiders game cbs would air the game of the week

Bills/Oilers playoff game ("the comeback") was blacked out. And I do remember looking at NFL TV maps last year and seeing some markets still had blackouts. I wanna say Tampa?

Commanders and Jags maybe?

I wish the NY Giants games would get blacked out.

Well you could always get blacked out instead.

I looked at the week 17 TV map from last year and it was Tampa and Houston. But they blacked out the CBS early game for whatever reason (only 2 markets to do so). Tampa and Houston played on Fox and those games were shown. No idea why they'd black out the CBS early game.

Texans enforced a blackout week 16 too. I didn't look at any other weeks.

They are smart ladies who understand that those comments might be detrimental to their business of collecting tuition fees. Unless they teach cooking and cleaning.

I vaguely remember Cowboys blackouts and people driving to the nearest out of market towns to watch. More recently I remember Kroger buying enough tickets to avoid it. Been a long time since that was a worry though.

I remember cable descramblers being a thing so people could watch PPVs for free. My roommate and I bought an "RFT-DAM" or as he called it an RFT-DAM!!!!!!!!

I think it worked once.

One of my buddy's dad related stories about him and 3 of his friends that had a standing reservation at a motel in Waco 90 miles south of town that was just outside of the blackout area. Said they would load up the car with a bunch of beer and snacks and watch the game in the motel room.

Funny part was, is that a lot of times, they would lie to their wives that the game was blacked out, even when it wasn't, because they wanted to get out of the house and watch the game with their buddies.

Contrary to the second paragraph, that was the funny part.

Call me a cynic or tell me I have had some terrible friends (both are true), but that makes me want to bet large chunks of US currency that there was more than football involved on those weekends.
