Las Vegas Poker Player Vlogs
Gobbo other Thread got closed by the mod said it doesn't belong in the House of Blogs, hoping we can have this one witho
Looks like both have been dropped: https://www.worldpokertour.com/ambassado...
What's interesting is when I did a google search the results page had Neeme listed until I clicked on the actual link, and he was nowhere to be found, so it probably was a recent decision.
I think "WPT Global" is a different deal as they have Rampage listed
TBC on a 5-6K downswing.
Hey guys. I know it's been over a month since my last vlog. Haven't been playing live much and not really motivated to do make a vlog of me doing nothing. When WSOP starts, expect some content! π
Smart move Pman! After the huge amount of live poker played also known as 30 hours at Westgate for one whole week, the last thing you want to do is burn yourself out before the WSOP. It's not like you are planning on using all of your own money to play tourneys.
But make no mistake everyone! The grind starts now!
OG poster on here DGAF has been saying it for over decade but ok. I would say most people that have made money at poker in the US in any form are comfortably middle/upper middle class, and have above average intelligence. Limon and Rob Farha probably best rags to riches stories on this forum, and they still won the genetic lottery. Did Pman just dox Jeremiah Williams for having
i would say people coming from money using that as a crutch to keep failing until they make it is a modern phenomena. Dorks actually tell their parents they are playing poker "and crushing" now. When i started professional poker wasn't a thing, televised poker pros weren't a thing, online poker grinders from around the world weren't a thing, middle class (or upper) parents letting their kids "try poker as a career for a while" was like parents letting their kids try "robbing banks as a career for a while" it literally didn't exist. everyone who tried to make a living playing poker pre 2004 was willing to be seen as a semi criminal misfit and NEVER told their parents under any circumstances unless they wanted all help/money cut off and maybe an intervention. the one thing all OG pros have in common is this: we all ran like god at the beginning. its the only way anyone had a chance because there was ZERO family help for any of us and you couldn't "grind your way up" because the rake at the low levels of live poker is usury. you had to have no "bankroll management", run like god, play as big as possible, and figure it out as you went. We all built the plane while it was in the air.
been playing live since 97/98 and Limon is spitting facts , if you said you were playing poker for a living you might as well say you sold crack and I came from very poor family but those with family money also lied .
I had 5 fake jobs until 2004 or so when the boom took place and then it was acceptable and also when trust fund kids started playing en masse in underground card rooms.
Does Diesel even tell his parents about his poker? I would think that would piss them off. It's quite a ways from lawyering.
Who is this Limon guy?
Not sure what you need these days with YouTube to earn the most from content. I had heard on one stream that it's more about the views than the Likes these days.
Likes do not earn money on YouTube. It has always been views (specifically total time viewed). Likes AND dislikes can help YouTube's algorithm show it to more people, and I suppose indirectly lead to more money.

You must be a truly miserable person
Rampage was indeed announced as a WPT Global Ambassador last April and is still shown on their site. Ivey and Owens are listed on both WPT and WPTG.
So considering this is May .. it must have been at least a 2 year deal. GL
I was eating at a seafood and sushi restaurant last night. This party of 10 at another table ordered a huge sushi combo platter that was like 6 plates of 15 pieces each.
After they left, I noticed quite a few leftover pieces. One plate still had 8 salmon sushi while another had 6 tuna sushi. I said to myself "What would Diesel do?" and joked I should either swipe some pieces or ask the waitress if I could get a to go box for that table.
I was so sad to see that yummy salmon go to waste.

I try to name check in posts hoping that people vanity searching their names will pop in here. Limon and Pman are the only two I have gotten and one of those is not like the other lol always appreciate Limon posts even when itβs the greatest hits.
What we really need is a big Limon post/video/rant reaffirming how good button straddles are. If I hear someone trash a button straddle in a live game again Iβm definitely going to berate them.
Also, think we are talking about different levels of wealth and skill level because thereβs a big difference between Asian Poker Kids with their scantily clad girlfriend sitting behind them as they punt and a working grinder that is on their parents Cadillac health insurance plan til 26, got a nice car/cash for graduation, and still have to use apps to get a date.
Yep, name search 100%. Appears like Candyman.
No, you were more like a passenger in a plane someone else built and flew
Online poker operations took off around Spring 2001, when the first sustainable operators emerged. A few crashed and burned, a few merged or were sold off, and some today still trace back to 2001. Live poker boomed as a result of Travel Channel television coverage of online-fueled live games and tournament play and some engaging success stories, like Chris Moneymaker.
However, for all your accomplishments, I don't think you built a plane.

I thought I had a Paradise Poker account pre-2000.

Leave the fish, take the mayo.
Japanese pocket mayo is widely regarded as the best pocket mayo in the world. Any one that owns some of that is a baller
Well much to my surprise I still have my diamond drinks
Nice to not be lumped into the same group as poker "pro" vagrant.
Suck it Caesars!

It was taken away from a minority abusing the system. Those that went to the casino for the sole purpose of obtaining free drinks then not playing at all that day. Or those that would get free drinks at 1145pm and then again at 1215 am the next day and not play or spend any money at all. Rice regularly abused the system, then gloated about it on social media.
I guess Diesel hasn't figured out that casinos are for profit and will show any grifter the door without hesitation or warning.
Lol why is your beef with Caesars? I'd be happy that they cleared the ranks of all the grubs. By being a bit more selective/targeted with their rewards it should improve things for everyone else. Next logical step is for them to do the same thing with the waived resort fees.
