2022-2023 Saw Manchester City’s Death Star become fully operational winning the Premier League with 89 points by e
Wasn’t only a couple of weeks ago when you were moaning that so many people got lucky and got Jackson off the bench?
You captained Saka and had Isak on your bench.
i mean realistically i blew the league because of homer bias not captaining haaland 2 weeks in a row when he scored a billion points
Although I do not want to take a massive dump on the huge achievement we (Arsenal) have made this season I do feel we ran hotter than the sun when it came to injuries.
Think noone can argue this and I doubt it can repeat. Squad depth will be really important if you want to compete with City.
Partey can't play more than 15 games, Elneny is going. We will need midfield depth.
A striker and who knows what depending on who we sell.
Not quite sure how many girlfriends/parents have left you for Spurs fans that drives you to be like this, but you get your own opinions - you don't get your own facts..
Simple - it's called having lived in various parts of North London for a long time and seeing how people behave. No one expects you to understand this from thousands of miles away though, but talking about facts, don't tell me about what happens in my home city. Some groups of fans become quite unpleasant when their club keeps failing (even to each other on occasion).
I lived in North London or thereabouts for 27 years. Not that this is relevant to you claiming nobody has heard of Spurs (when there are hundreds of fan clubs around the globe).
But it has the virtue of being true.
Oooh, 27 years you say?
If Tottenham are so popular around the globe perhaps you can explain why so few players are likely to be Spurs fans (which was the original point I responded to, just before you thought it wise to personalise things)?

The same reason they're unlikely to be fans of any given club. There are a lot of clubs out there. On top of that most people from football playing countries support teams in their own country.
Spurs are incredibly well supported club in England but pick a random English man they're miles more likely not to be a Spurs fan than to be one. Even pick someone from North London they're more likely not to be a Spurs fan than be one.
It's ok to be wrong occasionally people won't think less of you
Pretty poor reply that fails to explain why Tottenham have fewer (if any) players who are fans compared with other PL clubs.
The lack of Tottenham fans in most of Europe and Africa (where overseas PL players are mainly drawn from) does explain it in a very obvious way, despite what you'd have us believe. To people in those continents they're mostly a club who appear sometimes on a screen playing a bigger club, and that they don't give a hoot about.

**** knows how those figures are calculated. Could probably stick a 2 on the front of our games missed column alone. Egan has been out since September, Basham since October, Jebbison made his season debut on Sunday, Brewster's missed at least half the season, McBurnie has had multiple injuries, Norrington-Davies and Lowe have both missed huge parts of the season to the extent we needed to make an emergency loan right at the end of August,Baldock's played two games this calendar year, Grbic missed at least a couple with concussion, Ahmedhodzic has missed games, Robinson's missed at least a couple, Archer was out for a couple of months, Tom Davies has barely played since we signed him...
WTF, Kompany is favourite for the Bayern Munich job
about 20 managers have already rejected buyern, hopefully kompany does the same.
apparently no hendo in the provisional engerlund squad. it might finally come home.
Perhaps since their main attractive quality is their wonderful shirt, they should be looking for a player/manager
Shows how much I don't follow as closely as I used to, there's someone in the England squad that I have never heard of.
What is an Adam Wharton?
Did Southgate clean forget that Pope is fit again? Why has he gone for 2 keepers who can’t get in their club sides?
Worst omission of the lot, for me.
Picking a GK with only one game under his belt since December would be bad.
Ramsdale had at least been training regularly and part of match day squads for all of 2024, unlike shoulder injury guy.
We’re talking goalkeepers here. They don’t need to run 10k per game.
Pope is fit.
He’s clearly the second best keeper.
Southgate clearly forgot about him
Goalkeepers
Dean Henderson (Crystal Palace), Jordan Pickford (Everton), Aaron Ramsdale (Arsenal), James Trafford (Burnley).
Defenders
Jarrad Branthwaite (Everton), Lewis Dunk (Brighton), Joe Gomez (Liverpool), Marc Guehi (Crystal Palace), Ezri Konsa (Aston Villa), Harry Maguire (Manchester United), Jarell Quansah (Liverpool), Luke Shaw (Manchester United), John Stones (Manchester City), Kieran Trippier (Newcastle), Kyle Walker (Manchester City)
Midfielders
Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool), Conor Gallagher (Chelsea), Curtis Jones (Liverpool), Kobbie Mainoo (Manchester United), Declan Rice (Arsenal), Adam Wharton (Crystal Palace).
Forwards
Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid), Jarrod Bowen (West Ham), Eberechi Eze (Crystal Palace), Phil Foden (Manchester City), Jack Grealish (Manchester City), Anthony Gordon (Newcastle), Harry Kane (Bayern Munich), James Maddison (Tottenham), Cole Palmer (Chelsea), Bukayo Saka (Arsenal), Ivan Toney (Brentford), Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa).
Has until June 7th to prune seven out.
Who are the 7 that will miss out do you reckon?
Hard to read Southgate's mind but we known how much faith he places in his stalwarts. I think he'll take all of those that went to tournaments before, even Trippier and Maguire.
Also categorising several of those picked as forwards is very bad and confuses the picture.

Have you even seen the squad? He's already shown that he's finally willing to drop his stalwarts.
Will still win **** all with him in charge
I cba with this "preliminary squad" ****. Just announce the ***ing squad ffs.
