Trooper97 vlogs, discussions etc. will be allowed to continue in the new thread. That thread will not be unchained and I will work with the other LVL mods to keep it civil.

I personally am not going to allow a lot of the horrible posting that went on in the original thread to take place and I will be very generous with post deletions and bans if needed.

Posts the are overly derogatory, mean spirited, name calling (including using rude derivatives of names) , and demeaning posts towards any of the vloggers or posters in the thread will be deleted at the mods discretion. If any accounts persistently do this they will be banned or exiled from posting in this thread. In these cases we may issue a warning first.

Accounts that are used only to or substantially to troll post in this thread will be banned.

No personal family information or situations allowed in the thread.

OK Vlogger Thread, we are going with some new parameters to try to make this the POSITIVE vlogger thread that it is supposed to be, not the AIDS vlogger thread where a few loonies ruin it for the rest. Note that 'positive' does not equal 'only positive', it means anything negative being said CAN'T be namecalling or wild, unsubstantiated speculation regarding any and all vloggers. Personal lives and anything aside from poker is OFF THE TABLE.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. Is Pman just hitting up all of poker twitter begging for backing? Also, I don't think Jmo is offering what Pman thinks he's offering.

It'd be more sad if he intentionally asked for a staking knowing that's not what's being offered.

As someone who has staked a couple people and been staked for mid-high stakes, there's nothing more "turn-off" than a random msging you out of the blue asking for a stake. It's like, red alert, alarm bells.

Poker one of the few communities where strangers will msg you on discord or instagram and ask for $500-$2000 staking, while they claim they are XYZ stats.

by Koshka k

At this point, Pman might as well just panhandle at the series with a pic of his second place Employee's Event last year.

I've never seen someone so desperate to be a poker pro yet dedicate so little time at achieving it.

pman is in a perfect spot too.

Living in vegas, supportive parents that financially support him and bought him a condo, doesn't have a job, is an early adopter of bitcoin.

All he has to do is grind poker all day yet he only plays 12 hours a week and is begging for stakes on twitter.

In general the poker world is weird..

"Lend me money to gamble with " has always been absurd to me.
Even more absurd is when people drag their feet on repaying the loan and act like they're doing the lender a favor when they throw them some scraps.

Why do you think people are in the position to need to borrow money in the first place?

It's always absurd to me that people will loan money to people that can't afford to buy into to lower buy in tourneys, if they were so good at poker then why don't they have cash?

This have always been my train of thought as well. Like lol at having to be staked for small stakes and talking about how you are a winning player yada yada. Yeah, if you are so good why havent you been building your own bankroll? There is red flags all over the place regarding people like Pman basically begging for money to gamble with.

Accomplished winning players/pros that needs staking for bigger games/tournaments is a different topic of course.

Yeah pman is a nice enough guy but boring af and not good at poker or vlogging. Only gets discussed in here as he replies. I do hope he has a good life but it won't be in the poker industry

There's a very simple solution for pman. All he needs to do is get his grind on which should be easy. He lives a few miles from many poker rooms that operate 24 hours a day. Has anyone told him about this? Good luck to him I look forward to hearing about his progress.

He has no car and likes to ride his scooter to close casinos like Westgate and Sahara.

He needs to venture out to the strip.

Wouldn't displaying your skills at the table be the best advertising?

Of course,countless times.

But our hero always has excuses for why he isnt grinding and putting in the hours.

Once he gets to Sahara or Westgate the local monorail rate is only $1 so he can get to all of the strip

I think people should give him the money for the tournaments and see what happens. He might surprise us. Pay the man your money as Teddy kgb would say. He will probably win one or two maybe.

The PMan hate seems a little unwarranted though. I mean unless Im missing something its simply because he is lazy and a little delusional about his chances of being a pro? Thats like 95% of players right?

There seems to be a species of aspiring pros who don't really love the grind, and perhaps are just attracted to poker because it provides an escapist fantasy of making a living on your own terms. Many of these types seem avoidant when it comes to actually playing the game. The idea of being a poker player is more appealing to them than actually playing poker.

The hate is unnecessary. I think he will make it when he decides to get serious about it.

I'd like to see a Pman vlog from the Piranha Club.

Creation and timing is very sus.

Just out of curosity, if you think someone can get "serious" and all of a sudden crush, you'd think they would have alreeady built up a BR at 1/3 NL at the very least.

This is it right here.

You don’t get to be a professional anything by not doing what you want to be a professional at.

Maybe Diesel can take him under his beard and show him the ins and outs of making it at 1/3 NL. In Arizona Diesel made 31/hr crushing the locals. He also ate some very cheap food like a chicken sandwich with fries and a quesadilla which was only 6 a piece.

This is exactly what Pman Trooper Bikeking is. Look at what happened at last year’s WSOP.

Imagine you are an aspiring poker pro and you got a decent $20k share from a tourney score right at the beginning of the series. What would most grinders do with the money? If you said, grind the F out of June with the cash infusion either playing cash or every $1000 or smaller tourney on your own, you would be correct.

Pman played like maybe 3 tourneys the rest of the way and hardly any live cash if any? And that’s after quitting his job at Sahara so nothing was holding him back to grind 10 hours a day everyday.

So ya, that describes Pman to a t. Pman is a professional aspiring poker pro for over three years now since the start of his poker goals thread. Way to go, Pman. I apologize profusely for attacking you for wanting to be a pro when you have already made it as an aspiring pro for years.

by DogFace k

Lol these types are happy to play poker, as long as they are playing with other people's money. This however does nothing to dampen their supreme confidence. To the contrary, they are often seen doubling down on themselves by looking for side action in the very events they needed staking.

by prairiebreeze k

This is it right here.

You don’t get to be a professional anything by not doing what you want to be a professional at.

The thing is putting in work early means you can be lazy later.

Trending water later playing 1/3 nl basically breaking even making 15 an hour life wise with 1/3 nl as your sole means of income is ****ing pointless.

Put in real grind early a **** ton of hours so you can move up quick is where it's at .

You know, pman, you've definitely been getting pummeled in this thread lately, maybe more than you deserve, maybe not.

But you control your reactions. This response, geez. The publicity that you are seeking, it doesn't seem to be doing you any good. For your sake, I'd close 2+2 permanently, and just focus on making youtube videos if that's still your desire.

Nothing here is good for you at the moment.
