2024 World Series of Poker May 28th to July 17th ***No Spoilers***
The 2024 WSOP will take place at Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas from May 28 to July 17, 2024, with the Main Event running from July 3 to July 17. The Main Event – poker’s undisputed freezeout world championship – will have four starting days, beginning on Wednesday, July 3. Players may also register directly on Day 2.
Something about this Payfiniti thing doesn’t sit right with me.
I’m getting either outright scammer vibes or people getting in over their heads and going to get in trouble/shutdown vibes.
Is there a definitive answer to how many bullets can be fired into the monster or milly?
3 starting flights.
Many believe 1 reentry per flight: 6 buys
Many believe can re enter next day: 3 buy
Others say can reenter flight B OR flight C, not both: 2 buys
Monster = 3 max entries (1 per day)
Milly maker = 6 max entries (2 per day)
Is it completely idiotic to be buying in the old fashion way in 2024? I did it last year and the lines were pretty ****ed at times but I also didn't plan ahead much, like waking up early or regging stuff the night before.

This is what I’m doing fwiw with plans on regging the night before. I also have a newly expired Diamond card. Hoping that’ll buy me one time in the VIP line.
How do you all feel about the skill level in a $1,500? I've heard your table draw in wsop events can be key but I'm a winning 2-5nl player and feel more confident with deeper stacks so thought that might be my best event for the lower buy in?
Problem is, I probably wouldn't rebuy if busted unless it was a total BS Hand the first hour in and said **** it. Can I pay the night before a day C and not worry about it being full?
Monster stack is definitely the tournament you want to play. Great structure and you shouldn’t have any issues registering the night before. I registered last year around 8am and there was no line but by 9am it was backing up. There were a few tournaments that had a long re-entry line but I don’t recall if the monster stack was one of them, I’m thinking that it wasn’t.
Looks like it's actually happening now. Bracelet schedule:

They might be new and scary but they are fdic insured ewallet so you should trust them as much as a new bank, I suppose. Whether thats a lot or little is up to you.

it may for a little while, but eventually you'll get a cashier who has a stick up their ass about it and will say you're not diamond anymore (they can see your status on the screen) and send you away. especially if there's big lines... if there's no line they generally won't care because they'll take regular anyway.
I got away with it a few times last year when they said this by saying my host was supposed to have upgraded me etc I should still be diamond that's not right and they'll let you reg... but if you get the same cashier or one of them sees you they'll tell the other cashier don't let them in etc

It's what I will be doing; but I'm Seven Stars and get a separate window with very short line to register.

Tbh, if I get sent away, it's whatever. I'm just hoping for a one time "Hey, you're not diamond anymore. I'll register you for this one but next time you'll have to go in the regular line" pass lol.
Anyone have any success playing on WSOP with a VPN?

You can go when the line is shorter late at night and register for multiple events at once. If you make a day two and can't play the next event wait in line after day one ends to request a refund for the event you won't be able to play. You'll end up spending less time in line compared to if you register one event at a time.
I would rather stand in a moderate line if the alternatives involve a bunch of fees. If the money doesn't matter to you then you could always just pay the fees for the convenience of avoiding the lines.
Wow, Jack lost 100 pounds.
Good for him! He was getting pretty big. I lost 100 pounds doing the same thing. More protein, no carbs, and more water. Just had my first kidney stone from it though, lol
QUESTION. Do former Main Event Champions get a free entry?
Also, how may former Main Event Champions do you think will enter the field?
If they get free entry will it be over 15 Former ME champs in field/
Jack looks amazing, kudos to him!
Does anyone know when TBIC opens to load funds on to?
What status level do you need to boost on the WSOP waiting lists??
I got Champions Club on WSOP but only Diamond card - figured that would be enough rake

.
If you don't mind waiting in the old process then you'll be fine - depositing money into your account to use later for registering can be GTO because of how easy it all is and the different options you have now for funding. You should be able to fund your WSOP account at the cage, ach, wire, crypto to be used for any time in the future this series.
I have no desire to wait in 2-3 hour WSOP lines so this is the only way I would do it if I wanted to play in certain events.

I’m Diamond status and don’t wait for cash games, if that’s what you’re asking.
Maybe dumb question, does anyone know whether caesars 7 star companion card holder can use the 7 star line to register?
Former Main Event champions getting free entry seems like a recipe for (soft) collusion where they just play worse than they would otherwise against certain opponents knowing that their opponent is freerolling for a massive bounty.
