Two animal cruelty warrants filed against Chiefs' Isaiah Buggs
Love is in 6th place down the odds list for mvp on my bookie site. Vegas knows. Doubters will see it. Watch his season highlights on youtube. Drops back surveys the whole field fast, sees everything. Good movement in the backfield, drops dimes all over. He played at a higher level last season then most starters will ever achieve. He is just a pup but he is impressive
edit - I love doggos, can't stand people who mistreat them. Must admit not a huge fan of pitbulls tho. Some people just don't care and will chain them up in backyard and leave um there. I guess they see them the way I see a rat or a mouse in the house. I don't know, I love dogs. People that do that make me mad.

This is a new one for Andrew Ried. Oh, wait a second ...
Buggs (ironic, no?) just needs peace, love, and understanding.
K.C. Wolf should be made to wear a PETA shirt at every home game this season
We're still in the charges stage, so words are words. Buggs through his attorney denies that the dogs were his or that he had knowledge of them, and that the municipality has it in for him for unrelated reasons.
If he's guilty, the chair.
just like walking tall
except with a hookah lounge
Man can we go like a week without one of those attention whores getting in the news for being garbage people?
At least Kermit only made headlines for being fat
Pretty sure KC's head of PR is begging Kelce to propose to Swifty so they can have some good news.

Since nobody in KC ever heard of the guy there's a good chance he's done if something comes out of this story.
Pretty sure the "understanding" part only applies to valuable assets.
I guess I should walk it back a bit. While the Dolphins front office is not bright, there may be other teams that have worse clowns running the show. I guess one of them might pay Tua.
Does anyone here really think that paying Tua the going rate for a franchise QB is worth it? Maybe if I squint, I could justify paying him Daniel Jones money, but even that is an overpay.
It's not a matter of worth it, it's who would pay him $40m+ per year, and it's probably minimum half the teams in the NFL.
If the criterion for posting in SE was whether what you or I think actually matters, we might as well shut the whole thing down.
Obviously what we think doesn't actually matter.
However, other than maybe one dude who is drinking the Kool-Aid, I don't think anyone here actually thinks Tua is worth blue chip, franchise QB money. That probably tells us something, which of course, doesn't actually matter.
If SE were in charge of QB contracts nobody outside of Mahomes, Allen and Burrow would be getting paid. If you think Tua isn't worth franchise money who is, keeping in mind there's 32 teams in the NFL
The reason Tua is worth $50MM a year is because guys like Herbert and Goff are getting paid $50MM a year.
I already showed earlier that Tua is a better passer than Goff and Herbert. Despite the narrative that he can't beat good teams, Tua is right there with Goff and Herbert.
Since 2020 against teams with winning records
Goff - 37%
Tua - 35%
Herbert - 26%
Hurts is at a whopping 67%
Happy for Waddle. I was worried they weren't going to be able to pay him.
I wonder how Aiyuk felt about Jauan Jennings receiving his well deserved extension.

That's difficult to say without knowing how the other two would produce with the kind of weapons Tua has. Tyreek made even Mahomes look like an MVP.
That said, I have a hard time seeing how Tua signs for significantly less than what Goff got.
I don't think that has any impact on Aiyuk's feelings. Jennings AAV is probably less than a quarter of what Aiyuk is looking for.

Mahomes won the MVP without Reek, but that's Mahomes we're talking about.
Also let's not act like Goff hasn't had any good weapons over the years. Kupp, Amon-Ra, Hockensen, La Porta. I won't argue if you want to say Hill and/or Waddle are better than any of them, but they aren't bums.
I’d venture to guess aiyuk plays this year as the Niners final bullet before he gets tagged and traded
How long before he’s the next Chiefs payer arrested?
Waddle contract once again proves that Howie is smart to get these extensions in early - his deal appears to have $24m more guaranteed and $9m more in total than Devonta's. When they are effectively the same player
diff skillsets obviously but very similar stats, basically the same situation as the equal best #2 receiver in the league, similar draft positions, even similarly good but flawed (Alabama) QBs.
I heard on a pod yesterday that the Vikings apparently tried to trade up to 5 to sign one of the top 3 WRs in the draft and if they had done so, they were then going to be trading JJ.
interesting stuff and logical in some regards - given they could have gotten 2 1st rounders or close for JJ, they could still potentially have drafted the other JJ, got an elite WR and a new QB and saved about $30m per year.
it does suggest JJ is asking for a giant amount of $$ and why wouldn't he? Vikings need him more than he needs them and he's very young.
per Schefter, PHI and ATL tampering rulings likely coming this week
both franchises should expect to lose multiple 2025 draft picks imo
ROG doesn't take kindly to rule breakers
