Biggest loser in online poker history wants to grind $16k
I start this with some pictures:
nl2 -$8792.18 -82 buy ins below EV
nl5 (notice that pt4 shows party poker nl5 as nl4) -$5943.81
nl10 -$773.92 -15 buy ins below EV
Total loss -$15509.91
This is me playing nl2, nl5 and nl10 on party poker for one year.
My history begins somewhere in same period when they started to show WSOP shows in television. I think I have played 12-13 years nows mainly NL2, some amount of NL5 and little bit of NL10 what is the biggest stake i've ever played.
I've read all Sklansky, all Harrington, all Miller, watched huge amount of videos, bought trackers and calculators.
Still after those years and after that all I've lost huge amount of money on those stakes. I try to play my best but losing to huge suckouts like 95/5 favorite makes me really upset.
I've lost literally all my money including all my life savings to online poker. I want to try one last time to win those money back and little bit of extra. That's why $16k. What I need is support and guiding.
I had thread on micro forum but they deleted it just when people start to understand that this is real situation and not fake.
And if you wonder where that biggest loser comes from it was said by guy who has been playing for living many years. He said I'm the biggest loser in history counted as lost buy ins.
Finally put together an impressive month. Congrats.
Paisting, do ever feel like not playing at all or putting your welfare check on black/red instead?
yeah, it's sick how variance ****s you over. if it wasn't for the suck outs, you'd only have lost 2.2k instead of 2.5k.
also: imagine losing at -100. imagine putting a BB every single hand you play and just fold. that's how bad your "strat" is. gg.
It is very impressive that despite really disaster month after month, you've somehow managed to climb in stakes.
I've played now nl10 as suggested to and are now stuck there. I play there until im break even and then going down levels. Definitely not playing any higher despite any comments.

Also one thing you always forget when talking about where the EV line goes. Everyone with normal brain function understands that it's highly suspicious to get this amount of suckouts month after month. We are definitely not seeing normal variance here.
Next time you comment take these things into account which are also happening with high frequency:
1. When you have the best starting hands whale flops set or better
2. Boards favour 2 random card players.
3. River cards hits to whale
Do you count these too to that EV? Or do you have something on mind how I can get those hands to show on EV? Also we can put fourth thing to that list. It's 4. When you have AK they have AA, KK or when you have KK they have AA.
Paisting, do ever feel like not playing at all or putting your welfare check on black/red instead?
Never. I have got those free spins and know exactly what kind of games those are. In fact they have admitted to me that those games are proven hoax.
I would really like to watch a video interview of Paisting. Donating 220 buyins in a month and hyper-focusing on the 34 below EV is insane.

This springs forth a wise idea, perhaps...
Paisting, have you ever considered streaming on a platform like Twitch? Ad revenue and donations might be aplenty.

My beloved friend, you are not respected on nl10, you definitely need to go higher! and stop playing zoom!!! nl20-30 is your path to the glory!
Sincerely your greatest whale
Your lose over $2000 this month, you could've bought a beast of a computer instead of donating it in poker.
You are really saying that this normal variance with normal woking RNG? These are couple of sessions I've played on this week and literally lost every hand where I'm ahead.

hey paisting have u tried using a larger OR size? these guys obv just want to crack u
Why not apply to get on the 888 Twitch stream Team to offset some of the times when you're running poorly?
I know I would be there to watch 100%! (I'd love to hear the thought process).
Let's Go!!!!
fwiw, I have purposefully gone on to those tables in hopes of getting on your table & sucking out on you. Seems it went the other way around though, lol.
Let's Go!!
You wouldn't be 'Brian Paistings' would you? Think I've seen you at WSOP before.
hey paisting what is easty doing different from u that he’s able to complete his 10NL challenge but it seems like you’ve been stuck there forever.
In those games 4x is the sweet spot to get most often post flop heads up.
hey paisting what is easty doing different from u that he’s able to complete his 10NL challenge but it seems like you’ve been stuck there forever.
That's' good question. He seemed not so good player and I'm little bit up from him or like break even. He was really passive against me on many spots. Couple of times started betting on river on really odd cards where it was really easy to call him down after his passive lines on flop and turn. I think he was afraid of losing to me on his streams. Or frustration that he did not made any significant wins against me.
The biggest losing month so far, one of the biggest under EV running so far
34 buy-ins below EV means $340 lost to the absolute worst players you can find online. Let's consider the recommended bankroll for that stake 50 buy ins. You literally lost 70% of it due to the way these games are running. How in the hell can you make a profit in an environment like this?
You lost over 250 buyins last month. Winning those 34 would not have mattered. You still would have blown through 4 bankrolls for your limit.
People can make a profit at $10NL.
People can break even at $10NL
People can lose a little at $10NL
People can lose a lot at $10Nl
No one loses like you do at $10NL
You showed us 34 suckouts from 21K hands. That is nothing.
Also one thing you always forget when talking about where the EV line goes. Everyone with normal brain function understands that it's highly suspicious to get this amount of suckouts month after month.
I would put you in the group without a normal brain function.
You don't play normal. This leads your opponents to engage in highly variant behaviour which in turn skews normal variance in the short term.
Start showing some hand examples where you didn't get bad beat or sucked out on. Nobody loses 2K in a month at $10 NL strictly from bad beats. You are clearly pretty terrible at poker and have no desire to get better. This leads to huge losses and an entertaining thread.
Next time you comment take these things into account which are also happening with high frequency:
1. When you have the best starting hands whale flops set or better
2. Boards favour 2 random card players.
3. River cards hits to whale
1) Best start hands are not always the best finishing hands.
2) Every board is random, you have to learn how to play poker to avoid making the same mistakes time and time again.
3) Welcome to the roller coaster
Now when combining all these suckouts and the above points I ask the question that I have asked earlier. In an environment like this what are the situations and what are the hands to make a profit? Still no answer as no one has ever shown this amount of suckouts month after month.
You are playing hands that make a profit (in your examples), the problem is you don't know how to play poker past a basic understanding of pre flop starting hands and the basic hand classification that comes in a pack of cards.
Here are some tips that you won't take
1) Accept the fact that you are terrible at poker and need to change your playing style
2) Stop overbetting to "avoid" losing
3) Start playing 3 streets of poker, not just the flop
4) Move back down to $2NL
5) Stop chasing your losses
6) Record an entire session
7) Listen to people's advice
8) Watch how people who consistently win play hands. Do they blind shove PF every time someone raises them? Do they over bet the flop every time?
Do you count these too to that EV? Or do you have something on mind how I can get those hands to show on EV? Also we can put fourth thing to that list. It's 4. When you have AK they have AA, KK or when you have KK they have AA.
Why did you change your narrative?
You were all of that "oh blabla - finnish mumble - they're always calling with bad hands and get lucky yada-yada" for years, and now you realized they called with way better hands ~200 times this month alone and you were ahead 50 times?
You do not even understand why they are calling with funny hands sometimes it seems to be the case. How many more years do you need to realize they're bumhunting you hard?
Paisting can you explain this to me? I played it just like you taught me Paisting, fast and hard, disregard the possible JT straight and just check jam the flop. How did I lose though? I had the best hand by far when I went all in. Please explain.

Your whole post is lie and I can debunk every aspect of it. In fact I have the biggest sample of hands than anyone else from those different categories to show that I'm know what I'm talkin about.
But this what you are saying is absolute garbage. I have played almost 20 years and been on this forum like over 10 years. During that period I have never ever seen anything like this. People are wining on forums when they have year with 35 buy ins down in EV. I have year that was 200 buy ins down in EV.
When you look my hands that I post every month you see that this is something that is not happening once in a while. It's happening all the time. Every day.
These hands played just today. I lose 9/10 of hands where my equity is massive.

I got money in against them with better hands. How that bumhunt works without help from site. This is what I've been talking about all the time.
In fact today I played against player you described. If you look these kind of situations from my database its not 60/40 to me. It's the opposite. How you explain this if cards are coming random? How I'm underdog on those spots? Look that flop, it's not the flop for best hand, in fact its total disaster to any holding even kings. It favours highly player with those random holdings. Also when both have suited hands suit, is it little bit odd that there's no single one card on whole board that hits for best hand. Also zero cards that hits at all. You remember that software engineer who contacted me?

I don't know. You need to ask all these people saying that that is really normal. Only difference in your hand is that suckouter is not whale. On my games suckouter is always green marked sperm whale.
Your whole post is lie and I can debunk every aspect of it. In fact I have the biggest sample of hands than anyone else from those different categories to show that I'm know what I'm talkin about.
He obviously meant you posted 34 bad beats from the 21k you played last month.
If you use 4x, what are your RFI ranges?
Paisting is like a guy who shts his pants 150 times a month, vomit all over his clothes and just banging his head on a concrete wall for no reason. But if he steps on a gum he just loses his mind and his whole month is ruined. Once a month he takes a shower and washes his clothes just hoping things to turn around but no, there’s that goddam gum again. The city must be planting them just for him to step on.

Open your eyes people. We have cheat scandal here in front of your eyes.
Ya thats normal variance. A few days ago I lost with Kings full twice to quads on the same table a few hands later. Then 15m later I lost with a nut flush all in on the flop he rivers a straight flush. Then I lost with AA full to another straight flush on another table and then at the end of the hr I had AA vs KK all in pre for 500bb and he rivered K. That was all within 1 hr of play. I get bad beat a lot daily. But at the end of an 8hr session I am up almost every single day. I just tell them to do it again. They can't bad beat me for 8 hrs and sooner or later their luck ends and they donk it off back to me. Variance can be rough but if you play good then you should have a profit daily if you are putting a lot of volume and just focusing on 1 hand at a time making the right decisions. The money always comes back. And if the money is not coming back you need to hire a coach or continue losing until you can figure out what you are doing wrong.
