For context, this is a trans influencer who built a 10 million strong following on TikTok. She took a brand deal with budweiser to post an ad on an instagram, and the anti-trans right went absolutely ballistic, calling for a boycott, condemning the company, and to some perhaps unknowable degree it influenced that Budweiser sales dropped by a 1/4 and
. Dylan speaks more personally about the effect of the hatred on her.
What strikes me about this story is that it is just about visibility. This isn't inclusion in sports or gender-affirming care for minors, it was just that a trans person was visible. This wasn't even visibility in a TV commerical that a poor right-winger is forced to see, it was an ad on her own instagram page. We're all in our own social media algorithm influenced bubbles, but from my vantage point it really has seemed that in the last year or so things have just gotten worse for trans people and the backlash to even minor visibility is growing.
We need to do better.

Its previously been a bannable offense to deny the existence of someone that's trans or their gender identify. Only as a mod I think could you just directly blanket do it.

Its a legitimate question. It should provoke and promote good dialogue on the subject.

I'm obviously using the American definition since you know that I'm American and it makes my statements correct. If JBouton was using the British definition, then we can discuss that, but then it'd be better to list ages than to use ambiguous terms.
I don't really think it matters what age its a child but here I'm speaking to an age in which its obvious that its the parents' decision well before a child could develop any such tendencies. ie parents that decide their child is non-binary before its birth and that they want it to choose.

Also, I don't think any parent decides for their child that the child is non-binary. Some parents will not push a gender identity onto their kid, but those parents are allowing the child to determine their own gender, whether male, female, or non-binary. So your whole premise really doesn't make any sense.

Should be adults only (age they can legally pay a prostitute in their jurisdiction if legal, or access porn content) given the level of sexual display.

Kids are at pride parades all the time. My kids go every year. We were on our alderman's float once.
