Some hawks can have some yellow in them. Socks can be yellow, but maybe Nich would’ve gone “toed” for sock + gold.
Is there yellow noise? Different apps out are doing a bunch with different types of noise (white, brown, pink, green). Maybe yellow is out there too. And he couldn’t clue noise because that doesn’t hit gold, obv.
No song/music connection (Crash, Parachute, needle, Seal) imo because he would’ve capitalized Yellow. And I think sound is broad enough to not need to be considered a music clue.
Nothing else really sticks out to me. Tough board.

...but thats a stretch?
If the clue was Yellow, then parachute would be a stone-cold lock. But like I said here, it’s out because it’s not capitalized:

I had mentioned circle earlier and that seems out.

I'm kinda 50/50 on crash but it's probably out...regardless we're obviously not guessing it early
So what the heck do we guess? Turkey? It shouldn't be theirs because Maple/China are their 2 Canada words.
Should probably make a list of 3 or 4 in so that IRTM has options if we get another turn.

But I have no idea what the other Gotham word could be. And if racing's last word isn't crash, I'm clueless there too.
Issue is crash is a little close to orbit...
Racing could be something else like sound or point and just an ambitious clue
