These are our baselines. We're not reinventing the wheel here. If you aren't sure if something is acceptable to post, its better to ask first. If you think someone is posting something that violates the above guidelines, please report it or PM me rather than responding in kind.
To reiterate some of the points:

2. Racist posts and other bigoted statements that target a particular group or individuals of such groups with derogatory comments are not allowed. This should not need further explanation.
3. Graphic Images need to be in spoilers with a trigger warning.
4. Wishing Harm on other posters will result in an immediate timeout.
5. Genocidal statements such as "Kill 'em all" etc, are no longer permissible in the thread.
If anyone has any questions about the above, please PM me. I don't want a discussion about the rules to derail the content of this thread. If anything needs clarifying, I will do that in this thread.

There are 17 million food insecure people in Yemen. 2.2M of those are children. The full blown famine has only been averted thanks to international aid, and an entire 17M (soon 19M) are at "risk". IPC Phase 4 (humanitarian emergency) conditions exist all over the country. The number of people projected to reach that catastrophic IPC Phase 5 (famine) could increase 500% very shortly. In Yemen this is caused by civil war and external blockades.

right. a great crime occurred in Yemen and is still occurring primarily bc of Saudi Arabia and the USA with an assist from the rest of the Western world including Israel.
and that doesnt absolve Israel for its crimes in Gaza.

Letting just enough food through to keep Gazans at the edge of famine frankly isn't much better. The math on how many calories Gazans need and how many calories have trickled in is pretty trivial and there cannot be any question that Gazans, as a group, ESPECIALLY if you think Hamas is stealing supplies, are on the edge of starvation and some are undoubtedly already starving with many more already severely malnourished.
And this level of suffering is just unnecessary and counterproductive to Israel's stated goal of eliminating Hamas.

the fault lines documentary has a lot more info about Hind. they have a recorded call where after hours of lying wounded in the car on the phone with Red Crescent dispatchers she tells them that she is bleeding from her mouth. the dispatcher says its ok honey just wipe it with your dress. she says, no I dont want to get my dress dirty it will upset my mom.
they then patch her mom into the call who tells the dying child that it is ok to wipe her blood with her dress.
