The Bleznick [PG commentary] issue for me was two fold.

First - he's clearly new to commentary. He just needs a little help. For instance he started every sentence with, 'this is interesting', 'now this is interesting', 'ok this is interesting'... He just needs someone with experience to work on three or four ways to begin a sentence. So, when he wants to say, 'look at this' - he doesn't always use the word: 'interesting'.

But this is just commentating 101 stuff. It's the easy stuff to work on.

He

What London radio show, I’m London based and interested?

I enjoyed Blez commentary fwiw, weird due but a sicko in plo and he’s a got a dry whit about him.

I’m 100% sure it’s been talked about in the 1300 posts, but… Why are breathe right strips a thing?

Some nerd convinced some high stakes dork that the 5% increase in nasal flow leads to 0.0001% more brain power? When will I see people at 2/5NL showing up with them

It's happening right from the start in the PPC.

Down to 4, and a new chip leader

weird to me that Deeb is 7th in POY race at about 70% of the pints of the leaders. He's had one deep run and then a load of small cashes. I thought with the new rules only counting 10 results that he'd be a long way back and someone like Huni or Ausmus would be a long way clearer of him

Free ppc on Twitch atm! YouTube ended...

Edit: now they realized it, and stopped the free stream

i don't know how the hell to play this game but what the hell was that? how does that random old guy draw 2, get 2 low cards and fold?

Ace is high in 2-7.

Ace is high in 2-7.

Thanks.
Told you I don't know this game!

Let's go Daniel.

The nosebreather played the best poker, by far, until an hour ago.

Commentator on stream exposed that they played big heads up all in pot in 2-7plo with Patrik Antonius and he accidentally drew the wrong card, but Patrik Antonius did not let him correct the mistake and took the pot.

Seems like it is the rule then that you cant correct your mistake unless its okay for both players. Is that normal or should you let the guy correct his draw because there are no angles there and its obvious mistake?

IMO the rules should allow it for what you said, there's no angle/possible advantage. Shouldn't be up to the player(s).

EE even money to win 10k plo with 120 left.

imagine gatekeeping a win that is potentially monumental to further growth of poker so you can show some drunk soccer fans in a tournament that only has a good prize because of its price

bravo pokergo

Blez commentary on the PPC was great. Tuchman was god awful as always. God damn just STFU. His entire stick is to just be over excited about nothingburgers. Blez was trying to analyze the hands and saying what was expected strategy and Tuchman would be talking over him saying NEGREANU HAS AN 87 DRAW!!!!! AND AUSMUS HAS 77224. AUSMUS DRAWS 2.AND NEGREANU CATCHES THE JACK. Why is he doing play by play of the most mundane stuff as if there is anything really exciting going on? Just let the actual pro commentator comment while nothing really exciting is happening...

The problem with Tuchman is hes so bad at poker that he never seems to realize when its appropriate to use the hype voice and when not, so it just becomes cringe. This happens in hold em as well with him so not surprising its a car crash with games he has literally no clue about like 2-7 or Razz.

His insight I like, I just think some of his commentary comes off super arrogant. The amount of times he definitively states what a player will do, things like that. He kept saying that if Ivey got up to 4 million chips, he was winning the tournament.

I agree that Blez was at times entertaining, at times informative, and at times arrogant. But the final table team of Alex Livingston and Philip Sternheimer knocked it out of the park, for me. Tremendous hand breakdowns in every game.

I thought blez was too much. I muted the broadcast for most of it.

I would listen to Blez in the booth for every single event going forward

Blez was amazing

Yes. He’s excellent

Ivey top 10 stack in the $2,500 NL. That would be a sick one to take down. $650k+ up top and you know he has all of himself in that one

People were already getting screwed last night by not being able to register for Colossus day 1A, saying it was full, and now will get late registration when registering this morning for it.

Get your tickets early. I'm playing tomorrow with a nice table near the front of the room. lol

Its really cool to see Chris Brewer breaking down a hand live on stream when he is facing a shove and making a call/fold decision.

Maybe it helps him make a decision to talk it out, but he is the only one I see doing it. Some nits seem like they are trying to not give reads away while facing a shove.

Chris Brewer did it yesterday at the final and made the right fold but he does it a lot, for example big hand vs Espen Jorstad at Triton.

Benyamine is 3/24 in the 10k plo. Busting the horse when he did yesterday may end up being the best thing monetarily that could have happened to him.

I think a pretty large part of him was kind of miffed that he didn’t bust the night before. Pay-jump aside lol
