Catching up on the last level last night. Nezhoda with the bargain hunter's shirt on was one of the stars from Storage Wars years ago.

According to LV Review Journal, he went to high school in LV and started playing BJ and poker professionally at 21.

You think nobody else has a group of friends that are high level players feeding them hands/strategy??

Sure but the foxens are married . They see each other at night in the morning etc.. obv they have more of a close relationship than anyone else. Not to mention Alex is probably a bigger crusher than anyone else who's feeding their friends strategy.

by NickMPK k

If you are rooting against Rast for that reason I’d think you’d also be rooting against Foxen.

I don't mind flipping my opinion on foxen and turning her into a villian. Please elaborate?

by MTTg k

Lol one to root for is the Lu of course. 4bet bet jamming with a gutshot, 5betting 72s.

4bet jamming with gut shot vs Lococo is the same buy who 5bet against Okamoto??? Ok, sign me up!!! I'm going with this guy. $17,000 in lifetime cashes. Let's go!!!

You don't think other players are able to see/talk to their friends after these days are over? I don't think actively having sex with your rail affects their ability to contribute information.

Again, Alex can only provide so much that Kristen doesn't know. Kristen has table dynamics, Alex only sees the very few hands that PokerGO is showing him. I think you're overvaluing this by a large margin.

I don't think sex has anything to do with it. I just think these two have been sharing hand histories and knowledge for years. I imagine they have a good working relationship and can together devise a good strategy going forward. We shall see.

You're reasoning for Alex providing more value to Krissy than other top pro's would to other players was "they are married". Other players are talking to their friends before and after play. What other difference are you talking about exactly?

Married people spend more time with each other than others?

Idk man I'm done discussing this. It was just my opinion lol like an ******* everyone has one

lol

Alright man, lmao. If she wins, just don't be the one to go say "Well of course she won, she has Alex as a husband!".

Unfortunately not allowed on this forum but I imagine it could be uncovered with some searching, including many of her social media posts.

blake the whole line of reasoning by limpditka is comical and a bit disrespectful of Kristen.

I think this conversation is funny for reasons that I wont explain 😊.

Rooting for Dibernardi. Biggest spot of his life, may the poker gods bless him.

When do we all start pretending that if Kristen wins, the next few weeks we’ll see 15 women on the list for 1/3 and 2/5 in the local card rooms?

5 tables left?

There will be.

Montoyas the best

There will be.

Yeah I think there will be a significant influx as well, as long as the bigger media outlets with women-heavy audience demographics pick it up.

"First woman in history wins WSOP Main Event" is a pretty insane headline.

It depends heavily on Krissy's willingness to do interviews with these media channels as well. Not sure how keen she is on that kind of thing.

I suspect there would be a real influx. Not too sure about the longevity of that influx. For example, many of my friends who never otherwise would have played chess took up chess after queens gambit came out. Most of them only for a few months.

True, yeah. With boom of anything there will be a massive surge then a huge drop-off. The chess one is a good example. On the other hand, we can look at stats of chess streamers that previously had 300 viewers on average that now have thousands every day. So there is something to be said about a % of that boom staying in.

If we had 3000 new female entrants next year, then a solid 1000 the years after, that would be seen as a huge win in my opinion.

I assume it’s related to when both Foxen’s were in final 3 of a tourney and the screeching 2+2 monkeys screamed collusion when one of them made an ICM fold with Jacks or some chit like that against the other. Basically a tight ICM fold against the other was deemed evidence of collusion, which was complete horsechit.

No that was awkward but I think that guy is talking about Foxens comments on the thing that started 2020 and WSOP had some restrictions for 2021.

They were smart and brave comments tho, so that is only a very good reason to root for Foxen.

by RDS24 k

How did Lonis bust? Sucks that he's out. Foxen still in.

I was hoping Lonis would go deep. He lost a huge one late, flopping two pair with A7 against AJ... River jack. Not sure of the full action. Left him with 20bb or so and he busted before end of night.

by Kebabkungen k

He should not retract the statement lol. But it was still a pretty dumb and tone deaf statement.

It was 100% correct. Maybe dumb/tone deaf from a "these are your customers" standpoint

They also offered the 3rd party an ICM chop iirc. Which is a bold move to not take in that scenario regardless.

They objectively soft played each other lmao, some people are wild

Foxen's rep took a massive hit
