2024 World Series of Poker May 28th to July 17th ***No Spoilers***
The 2024 WSOP will take place at Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas from May 28 to July 17, 2024, with the Main Event running from July 3 to July 17. The Main Event – poker’s undisputed freezeout world championship – will have four starting days, beginning on Wednesday, July 3. Players may also register directly on Day 2.
I mean it’s just hard for me to see, let’s say a 30 year old woman, who’s never played poker… sees a headline on social media and thinks “poker you say? I’ll go try it out”
I agree, I don't think a woman winning would lead to any noticeable uptick in women playing the game regularly. It might get a few more headlines on normal news outlets though.
Losing Mateos and Ivey yesterday definitely hurt the stream. There's still some potential though imo. It's a decent feature table. Think the Song table should be on one of the other two features though.
Do any of the remaining players other than Cantu have any kind of table personality ? Genuine question, wondering if there's a guy like nick Rigby still out there.
Anyone who doesnt root for Lu is objectively wrong. The guy who wins the main having a highlight reel of 5betting 72 to get KK to fold, and 4bet jamming a gutter on the flop would be a godsend for poker.
Cantu and foxen on feature table. Not bad. But after losing guys like negreanu and ivey I've lost a little interest. Will prob be more interested when they're down to 3 tables and the pay jumps become more pronounced . Kinda tough to get excited for tables where everyone has sunglasses on and takes 30 seconds to fold 7 2 off
I dunno, I'm more of a casual follower of MTTs and think it's pretty incredible that there's a table this late in the Main with 3 people I recognize (Foxen, Dunst, and Cantu).

I’m sure there are. We just haven’t seen them yet. This feature table has a lot of the same characters we have seen before in previous days, just random players who have happened to be on feature multiple times already.
Hope we get to see more of the big stacks and more new faces soon.
I can't stand listening to Maria. Blah!

Rigby is unique and gave us viewers some of the best WSOP main hands of all time. Hopefully there some interesting characters still to emerge from this tournament though.
With Ivey and Mateos out, the luster of the ME is gone already. Wake me up when the FT is being played.
I actually don't mind Dunst. Hopefully at least 2 of Dunst, Lin, Rast, Lena, and Kim make the FT.
Montoya again. How are the same 15-20 people out of 160 rotating at these feature tables lol
So Cantu is still a bit of a twat, noted.
So Moon gives this guy $100 for 1% of this rando, he doesn’t end up playing… doesn’t play the next year.
(Doesn’t refund the $100)
And reminds her this year that she’ll have 1%
Feel good story?
Chances DMoon gets that 1% money if that guy makes the final table?

What is this story I dont understand
Who is Moon? Is this random guy on the tournament now? Where was this information told
Okay it was the Jeff interview got it, nice story but could have given the 100 back via contacting through social media or something. Well worked out great.
Damn ul Tony

staller gets a 10, poker gods are very angry
I have to do the duck memorial the next time I am all in.
This duck guy is… something
Moon met a rando on plane started chatting, wanted 1% of him in main, gave him $100.
He ended up not playing, kept the $100
Didn’t play the next year
Played this year and he contacted her “Hey girl! I got your 1% this year”
And Platt was like “what a story! He remembered her, gives her the 1% what a hero”
TBF, Maria was like “Watch out for scams, kids”
Seems like this table has a read on Foxen.
