2024 World Series of Poker May 28th to July 17th ***No Spoilers***
The 2024 WSOP will take place at Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas from May 28 to July 17, 2024, with the Main Event running from July 3 to July 17. The Main Event – poker’s undisputed freezeout world championship – will have four starting days, beginning on Wednesday, July 3. Players may also register directly on Day 2.
Have they said when the stream ends? Is it by time or player count?
Brian Kim and Niklas Astedt for the best final table of all time so far?
This will be awesome if these two get through with big stacks today.
This deep with an all-in and call, pause the stupid interview. This isn’t the Rast Series of Poker. Put the spotlight on the remaining players especially when they’re all-in.
Nah, they're not pausing the interview. They covered it fine. The stacks were in pre, and we got to see the hand run out. From that point, it's not really all that different to hear Rast talking over the visuals versus talent telling us what the cards are.
It would have been far worse if the camera stayed on the Rast interview, then cut to that hand after it was over.
Boris Angelov I was thinking he looks familiar. He came 2nd this year at EPT Monte Carlo Main Event with a huge field.
Wow what a year for the guy.
So Boris, Kim, Niklas, Foxen for the goat final table.
Totally agree he cant 4 bet then fold, but its such a massive moment playing for life changing money you cant fault him for thinking like that.
Yeah once the quick jam comes im throwing up with QQ too, so I understand the hesitation. But just feel like QQ just needs to jam to avoid this.
My comment in chat was that this was one of those situations where you just have to go, "Well, damn, I F-d this hand up. Call. Oh wait... cool!" I'm not sure if there is such thing as a preflop cry call, but if there is, that was just such a situation.
In fact, let me ask this... if he had shoved with QQ, does Kim call with AK? I can't help but think Vasquez should want to four-bet ship just to give his opponent a chance to fold a hand with that much equity against him.

3b was 3M he has 20 something and if he shoves KK/AA snap call, worse probably snap folds, idk what AK does depends on the player. You might think there's enough in the pot that's worth it though. Also gives someone a chance to rip Ax suited as a bluff but idk how many people are going to push that in a spot like that.
lol 95s woulda more than tripled if hed just put it in

Close, but I'm guessing Kim lays it down. He would still have 30BB after folding. AKo is not a favorite over anything in Vazquez' range. AKs yes he calls.
Sagle could have milked 3.5M on river from Tamayo IMO. That was a pretty dry board.
I'll never understand tournament poker...
That Serock 98 hand on 88xxJ, check call only. You could've lead for more and gotten called probably, and maybe he calls it off? Unlikely, but you're never beat
It's hilarious that this QQ vs AK (Kim) guy claims that after 5 minutes he saw that Kim's wrist vein was beating fast so he knew it couldn't be AA/KK

Sometimes I bet preflop, get distracted, and by the time someone tanks and starts looking me up and down, I literally can't remember what I have. Huge advantage.
Also I have no prominent veins except in my foot. Another advantage.
Yes Foxen, great bluff.
I legit clapped out loud when he folded there lol
She was going broke on that flop and turned it into a win. If Moroz just fast plays, it's over.
If lena wins (or even finishes top 3), I dont know how anyone can say he is NOT the tournament NLHE GOAT
Foxen luckbox on full blast.

And yet I got scolded in the chat for laughing at this comment. "You're way off, you know people wear scarves to cover their necks because pros look for that..."
You know, because the basillic and cephalic veins are so much more prominent than the carotid artery. I know when I take a person's pulse, I put two fingers by their elbow.
the run of preflop hands she's gotten on stream has been insane but she's also gotten people to hero fold to her on rivers, if song calls last night which I still don't know why he folded, is she still in now? maybe not. How poker tournaments go though, fine line between out awhile ago and maybe winning the darn tournament.
Thought angelov was gonna size up the turn bet with the ten nine instead of small but maybe she calls anyway and just has more.

I was gonna say... the runout on that hand with Moroz worked out perfectly. Kind of forced her to turn her 99 into a bluff. Think how many players would have checked back and hoped their showdown value wins. I honestly think his check made her go "well dammit, I only have one way to win this hand now" then mustered up the courage to bet.

I’m willing to give 100:1 odds on someone picking up a change in someone’s pulse via wrist from 10 feet away.
Foxen heater!
Girl poker boom!
