what you guys all disliking serock for?
WTF...pokernews chip counts table was reporting Astedt only had 71,000 chips and was in last place!
I was trying to find the post about it in this thread to see what I missed, and couldnt find any live updates about it on pokernews hand histories.
Now PokerNews Chips counts is saying he is in 5th place with 79 million chips
Since im rooting for him I was in awe! What a crazy error lol
Coelho tanking is getting annoying

They are frequently off by one or two zeros.
Dank
I'd love to see some ICM on just shoving QQ there. When you have a steep payout structure, ICM favors more risky play, not less.
All things considered, looks like a fun FT. Griff has a decent chip lead, but not enough to where the ending is a foregone conclusion.
Something for everyone in terms of sweats. You have your high roller reg (Kim), your online wizard (Astedt), your seasoned circuit pro (Serock), and two other guys who have been grinding for a long time at lower profile (Tamayo and Sagle). A few Euros who I'm not too familiar with.
Didn't get the A-list names like Rast and Foxen, but if you were picking final tables with 100 left, this is still a good runout.
I'm more invested than I was last year. Hoping for a fun show in the coming days.
Lena is fun to watch play. Never tanks, no crazy antics or staredowns. Just seems to have a plan in place for any possible outcome. Definitely rooting for him out of everyone left.
Random question. Do the main event final table players get their payout in cash, chips, or check? Imagine flying home with a seven figure check in your bag. Lol.
Lol @ Tamayoya. What a nit, not a good player clearly.
I mean if it was 2008 and there was huge money to get into november nine with sponsor shop deals, then that fold starts to make sense.
But in this case he just loses money with that fold.
You guys clearly don't understand high-level poker thinking. Foxen was simply balancing her punting range. This will allow her to make this move 20 years from now without concern for opponents reading patterns into her play.
Maybe we were wrong. Maybe Lena900 is actually the hottest running player of all time. Barely plays live tournaments. Plays the largest field main event of all time. Makes final table.
It’s actually mind blowing that he’s made it there. It really reminds me of when Ivey made it in 2008
Brian Kim has 30% chance of winning the main event. (He had vivid dream of ME final table +30 times and won 30% of time, he told this in interview, +30 final table simulations is decent sample size)
Lena900 has another 30% because he is just so good.
And the last 40% is some random donkey winning it.
anyone at the FT besides kim and lena who is a crushing pro?
Probably the worst play I've ever seen in the Main Event and there have been some doozies. Tamayo is playing like a guy who is not trying to win, only to ladder up a spot or two. He just gave away some free chips. Foxen's raise was her worst play of the entire online stream. She could only beat a bluff and no way is Serock bluffing there! That is, if she was paying attention. This guy had been showing down the best hand on all his raises. In fact pretty much nobody but Sagle had made any meaningful bluffs all day. When Foxen stays in her seat and remains focused she plays good. When she is laughing and joking with the other players, and keeps getting up between hands to visit the rail, she becomes lost and confused. She could have easily made the final table (and maybe win!) if she had been paying attention. Instead she got lost in that hand. Too bad for her.
FYI, Serock can win this thing. He is showing no fear here, while some of the others are playing timid. I don't like the tank top look either, but his play is unaffected.
