2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
Those are fair criticisms. I almost clicked to Dimes on team 2, which probably would have been better, even without a stacking partner.
Starting RB/RB is just so damn tough. But I like to experiment. And then hopefully the next time I give it a go, I'll think through more things I missed the last time.
I was planning to take 4 WRs on both teams in rounds 3-6, but then McBride fell to 55 on team 1 haha.
What round did you get pearsall at? Is he dropping with the injury news ?
Yes. That was at pick 162.
This probably makes Chig undraftable. I really only take him with Levis or on Jags bring backs, but I’ll probably stop that.
Sheesh… that’s brutal
On team 1 I think that rb room is strong enough to stop at 4 (which is scary to me), but it’s not a big deal would just be nice to get 9 wr
I think team 2 is fine. Not sure Fields works as 3rd qb here given you likely are going 1qb for 5ish weeks at least
I think you needed 8th wr over the other 2 positions you listed
I think on team one you need your fourth RB to be a tier better than Spears to stop at 4. Make it Najee or A Jones and I would be on board. Also it would be best if all 4 RBs had different Bye weeks. Monty and Spears are both off week 5.
I've only had 4 RBs twice now. If feels weird but some good BB players are doing it.
Late second Aiyuk has been enjoyable on UD.
Hope none of you gambled on Michael Gallup. He just retired apparently .
No Gallup, but I’ve drafted Tre Tucker once or twice.
Details?
I assume it's gotta be as bad as someone drafted Taysom Hill 1.01?
Just had a draft where Mostert went in the 3rd...and I have my first Lamb+Devonta stack in that league which I love...pretty sure that won't get cancelled.
I asked for details and they wouldn’t provide any. I had a draft where one guy took Jordan love in the first among other bad picks and another guy was taking late round guys in the middle rounds so I assume it was this draft .
Ceedee Lamb holding out .
I hope that means he falls a few picks in some rooms.
Happy with this one. What's nice about stacking Burrow and Tua is they each play CLE in the playoffs, so you can get week 16 and 17 correlation for both of them.
My only dilemma was for last pick. I ultimately went with Mattison but I was torn on taking a 10th WR in DPJ to complete a DET/SF mini stack. I think Mattison is the better play, but the allure of correlation was there.
QB - Burrow, Tua
RB - Achane, ETN, Zeke, Mitchell, Herbert, Mattison
WR - Reek, Cooper, Higgins, Odunze, Lockett, Adonai, Burton, Franklin, Malik
TE - Kittle, Henry, Knox
Every qb I wanted went a rd before ADP lol. Purdy, Goff, Rodgers
Qb - Herbert, Carr, Russ
Rb - Breece, Warren, Spears, Lloyd, Vidal
Wr - Deebo, Diggs, Pickens, Hollywood, Jamo, Shaheed, Corley, Chark
Te - Kittle, Muth
Fast puppy. Pick 6
Did I over do it with the Love stacks? I am gambling on Watson staying healthy and becoming an elite WR. Doubs seems to be the consistent guy but also still has some upside. Wicks is the upside guy. Musgrave seems to be solid with Kincaid. I grabbed AJ Dillon thinking Lloyd has fumbling issues and isn't the best blocker.
I was almost gonna go hype fragile RB. I ended up with six because I took a chance on Dobbins and the RBs dried up in a hurry.
QB) Love, Rodgers
RB) Henry, Pacheco, Montgomery, Dobbins, Roschon, Dillon
WR) Jefferson, Deebo, Watson, Doubs, Wicks, M Williams, Legette, Mcmillan
TE) Kincaid, Musgrave

This is good.
I love the Burrow/Tua combo for the reasons you said and you didn't have to spend high draft capital to get them. I've heard Tua has lost weight in an attempt to be more athletic this year.

It looks good, but I think you have to stop at 5 RBs and you need another Wr
It’s a small point bc the team is good
In the last draft I did someone took Penix in the 15th round.
He already had Stroud, Cousins, and a naked Stafford.

Loving the Steelers stack very underrated imo no love for mcconkey with jherbo??
Every qb I wanted was off the board, I had to pivot to Herbert. Ladd went 60 spots before that
That RB room could be the nuts if things break right.
