WSOPC 2024-2025 …Again. North East is left out !!
The Schedule is out for WSOP Circuit events for 2024-2025.
For some mysterious reason North East is again left out !!
One of the biggest Market (New Jersey,New York , Maryland, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Connecticut ) has no circuit stop !!
Covid has long gone ! WSOP 2024 ME has a record breaking attendance.
For unknown mysterious reason WSOP has ignored once again 2nd most lucrative market ( California/ Nevada is No. 1).
* One more observation. It’s not only WSOP ! Since MGM took over Borgata , even Borgata’s Poker events seems like not a priority to the MGM management!!
Is this indicate anything? Is there collective effort by Las Vegas Casino companies to protect Las Vegas Market ?
Any thoughts or logical explanation ?
It really sucks. I'd love to play one of these events
Yes me too.
Though we don’t have any Big series coming soon !
We have some crumbs in our platter I am planning to play.
1, August Almighty 7/28/2024 to 8/01/2024 Borgata
2,Big Stax 750*: 7/31/2024. Parx PA
3, Big Stax 1500*; 8/07/2024.
* The satty to these events is also very inviting
$340 Super Satellite to Big Stax 750 & 1500
Friday, July 26 • 11am . The rack is high @ 13.25% . Only $295 out of $340 goes into prize pool.
Although it is several months away, Bally's Twin River casino in Lincoln, RI has announced a partnership with Maverick Gaming to run their poker room and tops on their agenda is bringing in a tournament series. I would check back here or on their website for updates in the coming months.
I agree we need more series in the NE, but as far as I know they've only released the first half of the schedule so far. I am assuming Turning Stone will again have a series in March.
I see a Turning Stone Empire State Championship $460 event in August with a $100K guarantee.
This structure appears to obliterate any circuit series structure of a similar buy-in.
If I did the S Point formula correctly from Plogs site, this August $460 has 115 S points while most $400 wsop circuit events have anywhere from 49 to 65 S points.
Get on the bus, we are heading to Value City.

115 S Point !!
If correct, very attractive
😀
Don't go to foxwoods. They charge a ridiculous rake.
Currently running a $475+$125 for a $600. They show $90 in fees plus $10 addon. Then in fineprint at bottom, they withhold an additional 5% for fees. Double dipping on fees.
Later on. They are running a 950+250 for a $1200.

Where are you seeing this structure sheet?
On X
@TSPoker
The link within the bio of that X account.
Once to Empire State Championship info. click on View Full Details link.
Thanks. Yep, agree.
What’s the rake in this TS $460? Not seeing it on the sheet there.
I figured they might only hold it at Caesars Entertainment properties and that's why they might have passed on a north east location. But that's not the case.
Meh. Southern NJ is pushing it.
In any case, by that standard, this entire thread is pointless since there has been a stop in upstate NY the last few years.
Of course, when most people think of the northeast, they don’t think of Atlantic City or Cow-town USA. It’s surprising the WSOP hasn’t yet come back to CT with both major casinos in that state expanding their poker operations since the pandemic. I suppose we’ll have to wait and see when the 2025 schedule comes out.

When saying Northeast, Atlantic City and Parx are the first things I think of, not some 5K guarantee in New Hampshire somewhere
AC, NJ is absolutely the Northeast...c'mon now
