New fast food discussion/review thread
OK OOT, it's been a while since we had a devoted fast food thread around here and I think it's time we had a new one.

I ate at Burger King today. One thing that doesn't get mentioned much is that the McDonald and Burger King $5 meal deals are even better than I initially realized. You can use deals and offers with them... I almost completely forgot about that feature when ordering.
As an aside, my Wendy's Biggie bag is now $7 or $8 depending on the sandwich. Makes me sad.
BK is heavily penalized because their nuggets are just trash. But the $5 deal is still good.
Just saw I have a free Big Mac with $2 purchase.
Wendy's Biggie Bag is still pretty good at $7-8 due to it being some high quality FF. Then you accrue points and occasionally max out your meal with another JBC. Sometimes they have $1 JBC/Crispy chicken with purchase also in the app. You can also upgrade your fries in the app to large for a little less than a buck iirc if you so choose.

I think it's marginal at best. I mean you can get 2 singles (Two for $6) and a drink (or fries) for that price.
Fair enough, you are the KING and I am but a mere peasant!
Near me…
It’s still $5/$6 for Biggie Bags. I upgrade to large fries though because I live large and in charge, much like Charles.
Not sure if I've seen this mentioned, but jack in the box also does a free fries friday, but its any of their fries.
So you could get a large curly ($5.50 lol) + two tacos for a buck! Don't attempt this without bathroom access!
I got an ultimate cheese, so that plus free large curlies for $8 bucks and change is a decent deal. Unfortunately they burger lacked mayo, which means you taste the meat more, which is probably in the bottom 25% of FF 'beef.' Their new smashed jack or whatever prices are rediculous IMO
edit: habit has a free doublechar w/cheese with $5 purchase in app! Hell to the yeah!
I didn't, the 2 guys that wanted it did. If you mean, it was weird the bar would sell a case of bottles, yeah the bartender thought it was weird too. The guys talked him into it though.
If you mean, how was it legal, this was quite a few years ago, when the drinking age was 19.

Arby's also has free fries sometimes, and they have curly fries too.
Interesting... I get more free food from CFA than anywhere. Not even close.
Was in Portland last weekend and just accidentally ordered from the taco bell near my hotel down there 😡 rip $7 cravings box
Contact corporate, be very polite, say how you made the mistake as you were starving and love taco bell so much as it's your favorite fast food of all time, and they'll prolly give you a bunch of rewards points
COVID probably changed a lot of this for places where getting to go drinks are now allowed, but still I'm guessing this is common there because of their restrictive alcohol laws. Where I live you can pretty much buy alcohol anywhere, so it wouldn't make sense for bars to sell cases. I can go to a gas station or grocery store if I needed any type of alcohol.

your loss
if anyone in this thread visits Portland anytime in the future, hit me up and i will happily buy them a gyro from this place just to see the look on their face as they devour it

To clarify, this bar was in the middle of no-effing-where in Seligman, Arizona. It was like a movie, the bar was the only structure we could see from the highway. I'm glad I hadn't seen anything like From Dusk to Dawn, that's for sure.
Wonder how widespread Culver's is. Their burgers are second to none!
