Project 2025
Discuss
Democrats love the name "Project 2025" because it sounds to low-info voters like some sort of covert project. But it isn't. There is no secret agenda. It's just a collection of public policy proposals, most of which are favored by the people who would surround Trump in a second term.
It's more than fair to be concerned about the policies on the merits, but it's silly to act like Project 2025 is some sort of mysterious boogeyman.
His special counsel was a Republican who blasted him as being forgetful and old, but yeah it’s totally evidence of a two-tier justice system.
Your pony is a bit slow.

If anyone is interested, the first mention of "Project 2025" on 2+2 is from last September, by steamraise in the election thread, linking an MSNBC page. It's not like it wasn't on anyone's radar until a month ago, as some people seem to be implying.
Far, far too much going on today in America is too close to the same BS in 1930's Germany.
PROJECT 2025: They have a plan to make Trump dictator
Project 2025,
a radical, far-right plan to purge and restructure the U.S. government
if the Republican party wins the 2024 election, including dismantling the FBI,
Department of Justice, Department of Education, among others,
and placing federal agencies directly under the president’s control.
I don't know how polls work on here, but before I voted, I could see which posters voted for each individual option, but now I can only see the totals. Is that just how it works, or am I doing something wrong?

the only people acting like it's a covert project or mysterious boogeyman are the nazis who are pretending like it's not a real thing
and what are people supposed to call it other than its name? lol

Especially from a party where the bible , being vastly published publicly as well , are literally the truth of this world .

I assume the people publicly saying ‘it’s not as bad as you think’ privately hope it is. Based on the MO of the people taking the side of the former ITT I believe down to a man they’re hoping for the latter
And whether or not it is or it isn’t as a matter of perception in advance of the election is completely irrelevant. Trump has demonstrated himself to be leaning towards authoritarianism, denying any poll, primary or election that paints him badly or he loses, has demonstrated reality is what he defines it as and is so ****ing lazy and incompetent actual ideas of policy represent a complete vacuum in his hypothetical administration
That’s why the notion p25 is a boogeyman is so absurd. Trump has no policy plan, has made it clear he will value loyalty to the throne over capacity to do the job, and heritage has basically said ‘we will give you both policy and loyalty and all you have to do is carnival bark.’ Maybe it isn’t as bad as it comes off but to treat this as nothing is a massive error
Linking Project 2025 to Trump is the same as linking the Communist Manifesto to Kamala.

Inso0 is not really a deplorable, but he certainly has an illustrious history of absolutely atrocious judgement about what is and isn't a real threat or concern when it comes to fears of what the MAGA lunatics might do next. This is the same guy who was telling us that reason will prevail and the chances of Trump running or having any success this election cycle were zero.
The recommendation not to prosecute came from Robert Hur, a Republican. And the statement in his report that Biden would come across to a jury as elderly and forgetful was extremely problematic for Biden.
You would have to be on a another planet to cite that investigation and report as an example of the Biden administration undermining the independence of the DOJ.
Yes, getting a republican in the team is part of how the game is played.
The same was attempted in Colorado to throw him off the ballot (technically it was republicans suing) and the same was attempted at his assassination attempt.
No, the verbatim statement was

He reasoned that “at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.” In Hur’s view, “it would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him—by then a former president well into his eighties—of a serious felony that requires a mental state of willfulness.”
Hur tells you it's difficult to think normal people would have considered him sane of mind ok?
Where are the videos of the interviews?

This is exactly how "top regs" in the manipulative world of politics (and democratica these days are far better at the game, republicans correctly gave up and went more direct and honest) undermine an independence that never existed, while keeping the facade.
This is Putin "holding fair elections", this is Hamas "resisting against the oppressor".
I know no collaborators of Kamala that wrote the communist manifesto while I know hundreds trump collaborators happily contribute to project 2025 ..
You do know the communist manifesto was written in the 1800's so its not possible for any Kamala collaborators .
Her first major policy is communist
D'oh! Thanks.
There is definitely a correlation between political leaning and acknowledgement that P25 is tied to Trump, as I suspected from reading the thread so far. I wouldn't have a priori assumed this was the case prior to this thread.
Like trump , evidences is a damn thing for them.
Laptop and election 2020 fraud was full of evidences but not a well rounded publicly available documents like project 2025 or the phone call in Georgia trying to find 11k votes to steal the election …
