Carnivore vs vegan diet
I, for one, prefer animal foods, but also eat some fruits like berries and apples, as well as bell peppers, and tomatoes from my pillow.
Get stomach ache from broccoli and sauerkraut, despite being german...
I bet I can gain crazy weight eating broccoli.
Smothered in cheese with bacon on top, of course.
Broccoli cheddar soup from Panera is really tasty stuff.
Stop twisting ****, sir. I would never have guessed that anyone would dumb enough to accept the bet, and of course 2 weeks in a controlled environment would include a check in by a doctor to make sure you are properly hydrated.
I would not have cared, if you fasted before, because im not sure if that's even possible to check. Just LOL that you think slowing your metabolism down like that before going into the bet would give you an advantage...A simple rule like you have to be at at least ~15% bod
It has nothing to do with slowing metabolism down.
But now this is hilarious. You offer a bet, gave the stipulations, wanted me to escrow, and then you wanted to write the contract? Now that I mentioned I run ultras, you want my bodyfat to be 15% or greater? Lmao.
I mean, if this were serious and you weren't broke and you didn't put in body requirements that automatically exclude me and you didn't want a mod to be the escrow, then I'd have my lawyer draft up an actual agreement and escrow. I obviously wouldn't send money to a random poster you recommend, lmao.
Are you dense or something. I mentioned multiple times how you obviously want to angle the bet and how thats problematic.
Now you come out with: Haha! I was going to angle this and you dint even see that!
Whats wrong with you bro?
Also i still doubt that you can eat 10 kg of brassica a day for 2 weeks.
I mean technically you could probably force it in and purge a few times a day.
So in essence no you cant win the bet by the spirit of the bet or fair and square what ever you want to call it.
I dont do
What in the quotes did you find to be angleshooting? I said no fasting, no excess water, only broccoli allowed for 2 weeks, and before the final weigh in at the end I will fast for 12 hours before we weigh me in. In case you're not aware, the fasting of no water or broccoli for 12 hours at the end of the bet before weigh in helps him, not me.
That's about as honest as it gets and "in the spirt of the bet" for a bet that was, in his words, "prop bet for just two weeks, where you need to gain just 2kg only eating broccoli and drinking water"
But here's a tip for you since you seem to be new to prop betting. When someone offers a bet, you have no ethical obligation to explain to that person why they're going to lose the bet. And you have no ethical obligation to tell that person what conditions you would have made if you were in their position.
I bet I can gain crazy weight eating broccoli.

Yeah, and I'll bet you can lost lose crazy weight if you eat only one bowl of broccoli cheddar soup with 8 slices of bacon each day and nothing else.
CICO is inacurate, but good enough for total morons, who wanna eat ****. Just join weight watchers, and leave me the **** alone with your grandpa nonsense.
You are a bunch of people with reading comprehension problems, aside of general lack of knowledge and manners.
When it comes to facts, you spazz about your believes and feelings instead of giving a single argument. I didnt think that one can be woke, and an old fart at the same time, but OOT showed me that it's very possible.
Now that LoL keeps
Quit your crying, son.
This thread is ridiculous but the prop bet is actually interesting. Some of the fine details seem impossible to reconcile, like getting a Dr to check lol's hydration level and preventing all angling. If we want it to actually happen I would think we'd have to accept some amount of water manipulation, compromise on the stipulations to make something doable, and lower the dollar amount. I'm genuinely curious to see if lol can stuff down this volume of broccoli. I would think not but he says he's accustomed to large volume of veggies so who knows.
I'm currently using CICO on a balanced diet, high protein, active gym lifestyle and no alcohol and am losing weight and gaining muscle.
Coincidence I guess.
Also yes, this thread is useless. Lots of crazy ideas in it. I however do feel the prob bet would be interesting to see done.
I'd love to see the prop bet happen too. Pretty sure I'm taking LoL's side. Doubt we're going to find someone to replace Broke Parasense though.

The guy who is literally too stupid to count calories thinks he's smart.
I, for one, am not looking forward to Parasense’s next gimmick.
To his credit, he said he's done with OOT and hasn't posted since. That's probably longer than almost anyone else that has threatened this.
He's also posted numerous times in BBV4L so no surprise he's actually a troll.
wolly is Parasense?
Parasense,
Bro, I have no desire to continue this thread through private messages. I'm sure if you continue to post in here, the mods aren't going to perm you because you got big mad and requested a perm if you post again, but you might want to ask first to be sure.
I have no idea who the dude you requested to be the escrow is nor do I care how many horses he's backed - he's random to me, and I doubt he has any interest in putting up money for your prop bets when you get big mad.
But it sounds like you want to change the broccoli prop bet to me running 1km instead. That sounds far easier to work out the details for, so draft up your proposal itt and bring more lols.
Para,
I'm not a mod of OOT, so no worries about me banning you. I'm just a regular run of the mill poster here. Nobody has taken anything you say serious thus far, so I doubt the OOT mods are taking your "I quit" any more serious than the other nonsense you've posted.
Huh? No. But he started this thread:

I was making a joke, but I'm surprised to see the thread is that new.
He did make that before saying he quit though.
Reverse Diabetic issues...
Speaking of Fung, I remember when he got called out by a professor and then Fung filed a complaint with the college, recommending they rescind his medical appointment.
Upon the department chair investigating his complaint against the professor, rather than firing him, she said he accomplished a lot in the last few years and encouraged him to apply for a promotion.
He did and was promoted from assistant professor to associate professor and then thanked Fung on Twitter. Serious lmao there.
The Harvard Carnivore Diet study proves beyond a reasonable doubt that eating a pure, clean and nutrient dense carnivore diet is by far the best diet for the human body and mind.
bruh, it was self reported responses to an online survey with no supervision, control groups or peer review. All of those things by their very definition create doubt
directly under that survey on the google results page, is this Harvard School of Public Health published article.
so...y'know....even the organisation that published this study have significant doubts.
I'm not closed to the possibility of this diet being good at all and I'm certainly open to trying it, but why do you feel the need to oversell and BS about something like this?
I thought about this thread last weekend. I ate at a Brazilian restaurant. I ate so much meat I was sure I would be like Clark Kent putting on the cape, but no. All it did for me was **** up my stomach for 2 days. Maybe it was the tiny salad I ate first?
If you ate a small salad you're clearly not taking the carnivore diet seriously.
The real bet is having to endure a 2 week lockdown in a hotel room in presence of Parasense. 100k seems like peanuts (commonly found in one’s stool) for this level of torture
Carnivores bros citing 1 flawed study, as highlighted by the researchers that conducted said study. As well as myriad number of anecdotal pieces of evidence - eg. An 80yo woman who looks young for her age and is only eating meat - in support of their position. Honourable mention for the psuedo scientific youtube charlatan trying to peddle fasting tea for egregious prices.
As for the evidence on the other side, it’s well documented by large scale peer reviewed studies that a well planned vegan diet is appropriate for all stages of life.
Leaving out the impact on the environment as well animal suffering, it’s certainly possible a carnivore diet is superior, but the burden of proof is on team carnivore. At this point I’m not aware of any convincing evidence in favour of this position, but happy to be proven wrong.

Two posts of your five total were made today, both about being vegan, and they were the first posts you’ve made in nine years.
I’m sure people are chomping at the bit to engage in dialogue with you and “prove you wrong”, whoever you are.
