t9 is pretty good

Yeah, t9 is probably the way.

Yh D1ab can bold?

I do mostly agree, although I think t10 is a bit better.

Not any great confirmers that I can see either. Maybe m9?

T10 makes sense. Is m9 like m8? If so, I agree that can be a confirmed. Also maybe something like L4.

I’d even say maybe L4 is where we go if T10 doesn’t nail it.

I thought m9 also but this really hits only a few words so doubt we’ll need to qualify it: worst case just use least good card to get a second guess at it

Don’t know what m8 is tho; don’t think same as m9

L4 is good second clue

Yeah, my m9 is not like m8...not sure what that is. Not sure what l4 is either, but it doesn't matter.

tombstones

First thought was graves or maybe cemetary

Is there some movie like walk among the tombstones or something

There's a movie called Tombstone. There's a frozen pizza brand called Tombstone.

The fact that they went plural makes me think it's cemetery. But I just woke up and want to think for a bit before I decide.

M9 is probably mausoleum. I'm thinking graveyard might be stronger than cemetery.

bump

I'm liking the graveyard idea if you wanna proceed with that...

graveyard

Yep, good job

L4 was lawn btw

So I was thinking about the fact that differentiating between graveyard and cemetery was nearly impossible (one is more related to churches so maybe something there)

So, that made me think of difference between tombstone and tombstones since that’s really the only clue we can give

Tombstone singular makes you think of grave because there is a tombstone at a grave, so if gonna guess grave may as well guess graveyard so that leads me to tombstone = graveyard and tombstones = cemetery…I think if I was guessing that is the logic I would have used to determine which to guess

What was m8 and your m9 (if not mausoleum)

I was thinking memorial/s, hadn’t thought of mausoleum.

Nice job, guys. Thought this would be tougher with the cemetery/graveyard synonym. Well done choosing correctly with the info you had.

Round 2:

Cards used: 1
Guessers: bolt/nich

The Board:

DL | EF | IH | P | RG | A | M

The target word:
Anybody but bolt, please rand a word from the sheet and send it ibedrummin, d1iabol1cal, amazingervin and doctor zeus

sheet link:

ah, memorial/memorials makes sense also

I never really distinguished that one of graveyard or cemetery fit better. It was a coin flip.

But graveyard seemed more pedestrian and a more likely answer for this game.

I recently learned (not from this game) that the key distinction is that graveyards are attached to churches. I had always figured it was a regional thing like soda/pop.
