It seems to be something specific to MGMNH because Maryland Live has this on their Bravo page "10-20 BIG O".

In person, the screens show the game as 10/20 Big O so there must be something between their system and Bravo's.

Sorry wrong casino

Table Seat Changes
Several months ago, the person that was at the table the longest had priority for seat changes. This was great in my opinion because it was an easy and fair way to give priority to seat changes. Recently the rule was changed to give priority to whomever asks first.

Per talking with several dealers, they say this new method causes a lot of arguments and upset people. Many people who know each other openly collude and notify their friends in advance when they will leave the table so that their friend can be ready to take the seat.

I was wondering what others thought of the new.

It's very rarely an issue at any table I've been at and I'm here 40 hours a week.

I mean, youre colluding over a seat change at a table? I kinda doubt that. The old rule was a pretty good rule that was used by at least some insufferable players to troll. What theyd do is wait for someone to ask for a seat change and say “sorry hoss, im moving there, and ive been here longer.”

Also enshittification of the fri/sat AM promos continues. Good for the 315-615 crew though, not sure they really needed a lot of help filling the casino at that time. I stopped playing at that time anyway, its the best timeframe still probably, but not gonna bother missing work and playing with all regs. just kinda find it interesting still.

Anyone have any inside scoops about what will happen with (the former) Snacks? Been several months now with no apparent movement.

Rat infestation.

Rat infestation.

No, I was down there their last night, the guy working told me MGM allegedly said they were "making too much money." MGM wanted a cut of profits and to limit Saigon's alcohol sales. Probably cutting into MGM's other restaurant traffic too much. Now bread and butter next door sells chicken banh mi...not nearly as good as Saigon's by the way.

Their service was mediocre but their food was tasty even if overpriced. Hopefully we get a cava or similar healthy option, we really don't have many healthy places in the market.

Word on the street was rats

Very highly doubt that because of its location within the casino. I'd say almost a zero chance

I heard from second hand source that Saigon was stealing comps from mgm. They got the boot.

I can't even imagine how that is possible.

I loaded 35 for Saigon once and the next time I went the poker room supervisor asked if I wanted to do 70 again.

That doesn’t clear up my confusion. I still can’t imagine how it’s possible. Your implication is that somehow Saigon changed your $35 to $70. How are they able to do that?

I believe Saigon required $2 poker comp for every $1 to spend. Therefore to get $35 to spend they needed to burn $70 from your poker comp balance.

The 2:1 comps at Saigon were well known. That wasn’t the issue. From what I heard I think the issue was overcharging and selling too much expensive alcohol on comps beyond the hours they were permitted to. I heard of $10,000 comp purchases of bottles of liquor for example.

I wasn't addressing that speculation at all. Only guessing why brush stand might ask if he wanted to do $70 same as last time when he only got $35.

I'm not sure how they charged me for 70 when I only loaded 35. I guess they can do that. Also, I didn't use the full 35 I had loaded on there. I didn't know it was 2/1. The brush did rebate me 35 though without even asking.
