Man City have set another record with 115 charges of financial shenanigans and also managed to win
Good litmus test to see if you're a moron and intellectually dishonest.
Worst reffing I've ever seen since rvp 2nd yellow. Veltman should be off for violent conduct if anything.

That Veltman should go (which I think is correct) doesnβt mean Rice didnβt commit a bookable offence beforehand.
Calling everyone morons and then saying how this is the biggest injustice in the history of football is pure Arsenal.

It's up there with the worst calls I've seen in my life. Anyone is welcome to their obviously wrong and incorrect opinion if they think otherwise. It's important to understand that youre being intellectually dishonest or stupid though.
I'm not sure where it ranks when you consider Tomiyasu's second yellow for taking a little too long over a throw in and Martinelli's double yellow card in the same passage of play, but I guess the donks here will assure us that similar things happen to other clubs all the time and that the PGMOL are not corrupt or riven by biases.
I've become a little bit tired of it because it's plain to see that AFC won't be allowed to win the PL while City are in the running, and it makes me sad that other fans don't see the obvious threat to the integrity of a game they claim to love and instead prefer to point and laugh (until it happens to them) rather than calling for an overhaul of the refereeing system.

Itβs not even close as he should be booked. Nothing intellectually dishonest or stupid in saying that. Your post is just βIβm so right and everyone is wrongβ, which is obviously par for the course and not worth interacting with any further, besides, we did the actual discussion of the matter earlier.
You are clearly emotional, I would say take some time to calm down, but since youβre still crying over the Van Persie one thatβs probably not a good idea as that time period is likely to be measured in decades.
It's interesting that the RvP double yellow fiasco was in a match against a club later found guilty of industrial-scale bribery of referees.
Totally coincidental of course.

I don't think it's a malicious reffing decision, I just think it's a complete example of incompetence and inability to correctly interpret the laws of the game. We've seen this again and again with English refs. They do not have a fundamental understanding of the laws of the game.

This was a yellow card though. I'm all for conspiracy theories why Arsenal won't win the league, but this was a yellow card. Nothing to debate here.

Bad decisions do happen to all clubs. People do wish the refereering was better (and it isn't explicit to "English" refs either).
Arsenal fans just get more riled about it than others, and end up saying things like this:
I've become a little bit tired of it because it's plain to see that AFC won't be allowed to win the PL while City are in the running.
Liverpool were "allowed" to win (despite having perhaps the single actual worst refereeing mishap against them a few seasons later vs us). Guess it's just Arsenal that the PGMOL single out every year.
And because...... why? And why City specifically? It's just all so LOL, it reeks of the similar energy of people saying online poker is rigged.
I just think it's a complete example of incompetence and inability to correctly interpret the laws of the game
Read IFAB Law 12 and tell us that the Rice one isn't a second yellow, let alone "one of the worst decisions you've ever seen".
You're so accurate and rational when talking about football aside from this one particular thing lol (hence the reason you actually win at betting it).
god arsefans really are the worst.
you either have to be an arsefan or mentally handicapped to think that shouldnt be a second yellow.
lol arse lol rice lol farteta
Jokes on you I'm both
Presumably if Rice started dribbling the ball and then hoofed it right across the pitch, Arsenal fans wouldnt be complaining and instead castigating Rice. It's the same offence.

Not arguing it wasn't technically a yellow, but a) it's very rare for players to get trivial second yellows (apart from the other examples I cited) because, as the PGMOL have said, it materially affects the game too much and b) as I've already said, if Kavanagh had booked Pedro for booting the ball 30 yards after a whistle then there might be some justification, but of course he didn't so the idea of applying the letter of the law is bollocks.
Side note (except for the part about arsenal fans being some of the worst crybabies) but I always thought that the RvP 2nd yellow is some of the overrated "injustice".
no clue why we have to hear about it 10 years later. there are plenty of bad yellows being handed out in football. the fact that it's a 2nd one (because he was stupid enough to get booked in the 1st place and should have been sent off anyway earlier in the match) is completely irrelevant and does not compound at all the "stupidity" of the decision

I dunno the RVP one is pretty bad lol.

No idea either why we're talking about it again 10 years later but you're on some next **** if you think it's an overrated injustice. Top 5 worst yellow cards ever. Might be top 3.

I mean English refs are pretty awful in general. Week 1, maybe week 2, my memory isn't what it should be, we saw 3 huge mistakes already. If that's the argument then sure. I fully agree.
